DÝRIAN SONG ANNOUNCEMENT - FRIDAY 31st MARCH 2017
Dýrian representatives, GARNiDELiA
DRTV has confirmed that the Dýrian entry for the 7th edition of Fantasia Contest will be premiered on Friday, 31st of March.
The confirmation comes after the lead singer of the duo, Mai Mizuhashi released a teaser of the entry with the caption - "Föstudagur.. #FC7" and after many fans commented on the teaser, DRTV eventually broke the news.
The entry will not be premiered on Late Night with Nene Leakes for the first time since #4 due to scheduling issues. However, it will premiere on another show - Dýrskjóðin (The Dýrian Nation) which is hosted by Ragnhildur Steinunn and Nene Leakes. The episode will be a very special one, as we invited the  Lanovinan delegation to join also, so this episode will serve as a double presentation!
A later appearance on LNWNL will be made by GARNiDELiA, of which Mai commented saying that "it is my favourite show ever".
Hildur has arrived from Maronesia this morning, after a late night flight from the capital Vamislava. She was welcomed heavily be all of her fans and also Dýrian FC fans. After the 21st placing in the 6th edition, Mai stated in an interview with DRTV that;
"We will try our very best to get Dýria's best placing ever. I know that it isn't impossible to reach the top 15, but with a good performance we just hope to do our best - in the end that's all you can do!"
So stay tuned for the entry reveal on Friday, 31st March!
A time is not specified yet but it will likely be in the evening time.

Scandavia confirms for the 7th Fantasia Contest
This morning, SVSK announced that Scandavia will take part in the next Fantasia Contest held in Sirenforest. The delegation was thrilled to reveal that the country will finally undergo a national selection process again.
The national selection is called Vára Song (Our song) and will feature a final of ten songs. All songs will be sung in Scandavian native language(s) by newcomers aswell as known acts.
The voting will consist of a panel of 10 international juries to rate the songs aswell as another 50% which will be decided by a national televoting.
More information about the selection and the ten acts will be revealed at a later date.

Deadlines
Two important deadlines have been set by the FBA for the 7th edition!
The deadline for countries to confirm will be the 8th of April at 23:59 CEST,
the deadline for songs will be a week later, the 15th of April at 23:59 CEST!
Make sure you have confirmed and announced by those deadlines or you will receive one strike!  Lanovina to present their entry on the same show as Dyria!Today, LTR revealed that they agreed to host a joined TV show with the Dyrian broadcaster, in which both the Dyrian as well as the Lanovian entry are going to be presented. The HoD of Lanovina stated he's "happy to work together with NU friends" and also expressed his excitement about the entry. "I'm confident about the song and the singer, hopefully Fantasia likes it as well." The show of Lanovina and Dyria will be hosted on Friday at 20:00 CEST, with Dyria revealing their entry 1st and Lanovina 2nd. |

Kye Kye for Maronesia!
Another duo for the south-centralian country... and yes, once again with double nationality.
After an amazing edition hosted in Vamislava, Maronesia is ready to slay in Istacle with another indietronica band, formed by Foxtavian-born Yagolnikov siblings Olga and Timothy.
Kye Kye are known by FC's fans - they have already tried to represent Foxtavia in the fifth edition of the contest, but they failed at the National Final, barely reaching the seventh place.
Now, two editions later, the duo sent a song for approval to the broadcaster, NovaTV. The Head of the delegation said that they had listened to it only once before they took the official decision and that the maronesian fans wouldn't be disappointed once again by the broadcaster.
If Kye Kye had a shot at a breakout single, our entry - Honest affection, would be by far the most up-tempo track on the record. Looking at the lyrics, the song seems to be about bravely facing fears and admitting that genuine love is something that will change you and force you to confront the parts of yourself that you don’t like so much. But if you want to imagine it’s about mythical warriors fighting to defend the honor of their emperor in a far-off land, go right ahead – the music video seems to encourage that, what with its imagery of Jarean gardens and samurais and WWII fighter planes and such.
