Hello WWWSC players!

We have reached the decade mark in the Dutch NS! Therefore, this edition will be a bit different. It is in your hand to nominate which non-winning songs that participated before in this decade deserve to have another shot at WWWSC glory! Was there one song you were really gutted about not making it to the main edition, and would you like to redeem it? This is your chance! You are in charge! You can nominate up to 3 songs for this special edition in this thread. The eight most popular songs will proceed to 4 duels, after which the winners battle it out in the usual 4-way poll. If less than 8 songs are nominated, the 4 songs with the most nominations will be placed in a poll right away.

1. It Doarp - Alle gekken binne wolkom (I still think I was stupid putting two of my all time favorite songs in the same edition, which caused me to have to kill one of my darlings (clap)

2. Nurlaila Karim - Alsof je bij me bent (Imo a really strong ballad, and in Dutch, so it's different from most of my entries. I would really like to see how this would do.)

3. Racoon - Liverpool rain (This was the hardest choice. I really have several songs left that I'd love to see again, so I'll go strategic on this one and choose the one that performed (for me surprisingly) mediocre. Maybe it was because of strong competition, or maybe people just didn't like this song. We'll see...)

I'm sorry, but this edition is more like a second chance for songs that already participated in the first decade.
I'll try to squeeze in these songs in future editions, but my to-send list is already 54 songs long, so you might have to wait a while.
Btw, your second song was already on my list, so that will definitely come in an NS some day.
