THE DANSKANKS ENTRY
After the second edition of "BLEND", we have the next song that will represent
Danskanksova in the 8th edition of Fantasia Contest.

Jenni Vartiainen was born in
Dan Säät to 
Evämaian parents. The city of Dan Säät is widely acknowledged for its large population of Evamaens living there. Her song "Turvasana" is also entirely in her mother tongue, which makes it the second entry in a row to be sung in a regional language, after "Brennisteinn" was sung entirely in Dänk. After the hot and sex-oriented performance, Vartiainen stated: "I feel like people have a misconception about us, the Danskanks. We are not this depressed people that sings sad ballads all the time. Yes, it is part of our culture, but not entirely. I want to show 8Fantasia another side of us, that is how good in bed we are!" *giggles*Danskanksova had last seen the final in the 3rd edition with "Rain", where we got 18th place. Since then, we have experienced 15th place, last place, 13th place and 12th place in the semi-final. The HoD stated: "It is of utmost importance to us to qualify. Even though people here enjoy the contest and the selection of our song, especially, we feel like Danskanksova is tired of losing all the time. Let's just hope "Turvasana" will work in our favour."
