Hellex Group Production confirms the 8th participation in the Fantasia Contest!
Republic of Alkyria made their confirmation public this afternoon under the HGP broadcaster for Fantasia Contest #8.
The selection method remains the same and the nation will choose its entrant internally.
Despite the early confirmation, the news started to spread among the Alkyrian fans about the unknown artist, some hinting at a returning act, while other speculations hint at a possible foreign act.
To date, the broadcaster remains silent untill the artist reveal. |

 Evergreen Confirms EBC-IAR can once again confirm that Evergreen will be present in the 8th edition. Evergreen has seen very good results in the past, and the interest within the Everish public for a participation in the contest is at an all-time high.
 EBC-IAR can also already announce which artist will be representing Evergreen in the upcoming contest... It's true! Everish megastar Allie X will return to the contest, following her highly anticipated release CollXtion II to the Fantasian audience.
"I can't wait to return to the Fantasia Contest stage," said Allie X, who placed 7th in Akureyri during the fifth edition, "I can already say that the stage show will be Akureyri times 20, we're going to be going all out this time!"
Allie's song will not be decided by an internal selection, instead it will be decided through a special edition of the Everish national selection, Melody Grand Prix: Allie X.

FORDIAN PARTICIPATION CONFIRMED
FBC confirmed the Fordian participation and a new edition of Moledifestivalen, which will determine the Fordian entry.

Dýria confirms!
DRTV, the Dýrian broadcaster, has confirmed that regardless of the result in the 7th edition, they will be participating in the 8th edition. Although the odds are not in favour for Dýria, this is not an issue as the show is still the most popular show in Dýria and on DRTV.
Like previous editions, the entry has been internally selected by an internal jury of professionals in the music industry. They narrowed 150 entries to 10, and then to 1.
However, DRTV has not given any hints as to who the representative is. However, there is current speculation that for the first time ever, Dýria will send a returning act. None of these have been confirmed however and are only rumours for now.
Speaking on the 8th edition, the HoD commented that;
"Fantasia is a very successful show here in Dýria that it would be absolutely pointless to withdraw.
I cannot reveal anything at the moment. However we hope our choice is satisfactory! Good luck to everyone in FC #7 including GARNiDELiA!" |

 SIRENFOREST CONFIRMS FOR THE EIGHTH EDITION, ARTIST KNOWN
Densent, Sirenforest- The Centralian nation just announced their participation in the eighth edition. HoD Ash Janssen said "We have found a willing artist that has expressed their interest since the sixth edition, they also have taken part in the national final for #07 where they placed 3rd. The artist is....
The Birthday Massacre!  Based in Istacle, The Birthday Massacre has been interested since edition #06, where they almost represented Sirenforest yet withdrew their participation, giving the right to Nikki Yanofsky, who brought the contest to Sirenforest. They took part in Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 07, where they placed 3rd below Natasha Blume and Emilie Nicolas. Hopefully they can do well in the contest.
