It was still cool, but I'm indifferent with their result. I'm glad they got booed for giving 24 points to Greece though. She definitely improved her vocals for the final, but not enough for a good result. Glad they got booed for giving 24 to Cyprus. Meh. You know, I am personally glad we exchanged our points. It's like a huge "F*** YOU" to those silly corrupt juries which are supposed to be "music experts" and they overrate Sweden and Australia for obvious reasons, no matter what shit they send. Sweden was also liked by the public apparently so OK, maybe the song was indeed that good. However, Australia getting points from the televoting means that people didn't like the song; they even had it out of the semi final TOP 10. If the juries want to do their own stuff and vote for their favorite countries all the time, then that's what we should do as well. Moreover, I didn't hear anyone booing Moldova when they gave their jury to Romania or Finland and Denmark when they gave to Sweden. If you really are against this "block" voting, then take a look at all the others, not just to Cyprus and Greece. Even when we didn't exchange our top points the last few years, people still complained that we overrated each other. However, nobody ever complained for the Nordics or the Ex-Yugoslavian countries, or that block between Romania and Moldova.

Another year done ... for the next few weeks we'll look at results in depth and rewatch our favourites, enjoy the summer and before you know it we'll know the first chosen artist in November (or October if we're lucky). Yeah and then in December we'll get to know the first entry from Albania. Prediction: It will be another woman with a dramatic (respectively boring, but trying hard to be dramatic) ballad, which will then be revamped and "undramatizised" by changing it to English. ) Okay enough of bitchy comments here.

Yes, but surely the rest at least voted for the music rather than their neighbours just for the sake of it. If they are meant to be music experts then surely they would vote against each other instead

If Czech republic participates we will probablly send song that will be liked only by juries and not so by people

If they are meant to be music experts then surely they would vote against each other instead I agree with you on that point (otherwise Portugal wouldn't have won at the end of the day). However, even the countries that had the biggest potential didn't go for their main "opponents". Those points to Italy from the Portuguese jury or from Bulgaria to both Portugal and Italy. Even points from the Italian jury to Portugal is actually such a small amount of points (considering how many points the winner got, even from countries that were among the least expected ones to award them high points).

You know an event is popular if someone tries to do a stage invasion. It was great that Jamala stayed calm during her performance. How did the American commentators react there if they did? [/quote]

However, nobody ever complained for the Nordics or the Ex-Yugoslavian countries, or that block between Romania and Moldova. Australia is a different case. To be fair, the only 24's given to each other outside the top 10 were by Greece and Cyprus, and they weren't that popular in televoting either. Moldova's and Romania's songs were wildly popular (they didn't place in the top 10 for nothing) regardless of their partnership, so their votes for each other were less relevant if most of the public/juries liked the song. Same with Sweden, another popular country. The people liked Sweden's song, so Denmark's and Finland's to Sweden, although maybe biased, is just more points for a country the public likes. And none of the ex-Yugoslav countries gave to , so there was no opportunity to boo.

I was just wondering as in America many people consider somebody naked in public as the worst thing ever.
