honestly, I always thought Austria will either do well or completely be forgotten, and after that performance Caesar gave us, I thought it won't make it but I was wrong, not really mad about their qualification 
everything was perfect but still It didn't leave me wow, idk prob cause I have my expectation high but this just doesn't seem like a winner imo, Hopefully I am wrong
Yeah this was great and possible winner imo expected just this honestly 
after seeing the sp of rehearsal I thought it was cute but eh we didn't see anything from there and after seeing press, I was excited and that excitement wasn't for nothing, it was amazing honestly, one of 5 entries that really approved
a mess imo, I feel this has become a too gimmicky that it should be imo, her facial expressions ruined the song for me that could actually be considered good, I really hope she doesn't win just cause I feel esc would get mocked again for this, I think It might be potential flop in final(not top 5 is flop on itself). Imo this qualified based on the song
kinda cringy but that cringe works for the song I guess, it was fun. Even tho I am hater of this and kinda bitter that Hope Never died most likely I Stand will end up doing worse than this but eh happy for Czechia and their 2nd qualification 
a mess [2], when I Saw SP, I thought this could end up as a possible winner, before show this is my 3rd and I predict it falling 20 places after this, I feel their personalities didn't sync as one and everyone went on their own that was expected as they are just formed. I feel their qualification was also based on the song imo and I kinda think unlike Netta they shouldn't qualified 
His voice did the justice and simplicity and focusing on what truly maters also. I mean I am initially happy that they kept it in Albanian since 2013 and they qualified and prob got their best sf place maybe in final since 2012(hope so), I feel Some countries should just learn from Albanian *cough* *cough*
you might hate the song and performance but when she was announced, reaction she got was priceless. I mean failing from fan favorite to predicted nq was prob a large shock for Saara. it reminds me of Blanche in 2017, would be sad to see her not make it after all hype and trying multiple times and potential she has 
yeah this might've qualified over others cause gays but it isn't just like that, if they focused just on gays, I doubt they would make it tbh, the real thing that made them q is beautiful piano girl  overall beautiful performance. Happy for Ireland qualifying after all those masses they sent since 2010(2011-13 qualified ik) and this might be their best entry since 2015(that deserved qualification)

victim of the opening spot, performance wise reminds me of Tijana that also got a wrong song. Both Aisel and Tijana should've went with genres they are used to. Tijana with a pop ballad and Aisel with jazz song. Aisel reminds me of Jamala but Azeri gone save again and gave her this, anyhow I feel Azerbaijan sent worse (2016) and it is pity her being 1st nq when someone else deserved nq-ing before her. Hope Azerbaijan would stop using foreign authors and give us ethnic stuff in Azeri(2014 should've gone in Azeri) and Delara returning with song in Azeri can do a trick if you don't pull a disappoint performance but you have money no to do it
tbh this didn't have a chance no matter what they did but his vocals might made him escape last(also some performances being messy)
Sad seeing Sennek fail and they there is other Laura with horrifying song in 2016 that made it, but eh Laura Tesoro and Loic had good performances while Sennek lacked sadly that, I still wished she would magically qualify but eh It didn't happen, I am sad for her journey of being very high in BO to completely flopping 
I will be honest, I always enjoyed Melancholic sound it had(despite live being lel) and this performances was cringy but enjoyable but eh it was too much to qualify and he was shaking. 
a mess that actually flopped. idk what is with Balkans and horrible stagings in past couple of years(especially ). I mean both either do over-the-top or nothing, and this was way over-the-top, song was also over-the-top and stood no chance despite the hype, it would just confuse the audience and this staging did one thing, confused audience even more. so idk what they were going for tbh. Possible last place of the semi
Franka deserved a better song. She is a very talented and hot girl who got potential but idk what she was thinking with such a mediocre chorus, she just went back with an amazing ballad and I thought she will pull a good pop ballad in esc but she went with Alicia Keys pop that just didn't work. She was wasted
when I saw SP, I thought it was black but adding yellow and colors and basically no ethnic elements and some blue paint, didn't do the trick, her live was meh too
I see same faith happening to Serbia in sf 2. I just don't understand what Greece is doing from 2014-2018 at all, they finally have a good song and they did this to her. Serbia and Greece really need to consider what they are doing in ESC before they become a 2nd-grade countries after all success they had.
sad seeing Armenia flopping but eh It had no hype and interest in the 1st place to do much, sad seeing Armenia flopping when they gone Armenian fully, hopefully they won't go save next year 
yesterday morning, I got into a song after it fallen in my top, but eh with amazing performance and amazing message move that made me believe this can give Switzerland best result since idk when they had a good result last time(don't counting 2014).

even tho people reaction to this semi was huge, I was disappointed overall, I never saw this semi as bloodbath and I personally feel people have just lower their expectation of how this year is bad. Some entries made me cringe from here which I thought that is what sf 2 would do to me, If I found this semi kinda dreadful, I cannot even imagine what sf 2 will be. 2017 was bad but 2018 is probably weakest year since 2004
