I personally really don't know what to say about this as I'm at the same time happy that YLE is finally taking Eurovision seriously but I'm also concerned/confused because... a) The original format was dumped due that there weren't enough good songs. It's very disappointing that YLE got only 300 entries, so I'm hoping that Saara will succeed in ESC so artists could be more interested in UMK/ESC. b) Why they're helding a national selection? Wouldn't be wise and cheaper to select the song internally if UMK doesn't get enough money from YLE? c) And do they really think that they can fill Espoo Metro Arena with a three-song competition which winner is already decided? Especially as in the last UMK approx. 1/3 spectators were ESC-fans and rest of the people were for Marcus&Martinus. But overall I'm happy that Saara is finally getting a chance to participate in ESC. Hopefully YLE doesn't fuck up (again) with the song and the choreography. Next time Mikael Saari, Nightwish and Opera Skaala should get the same opportunity  |

I can't describe how f*cking happy I am right now, I know this may look ridiculous to you but this means SO much to me. This is the culmination of 4 years of ''almost there srry'' I knew about Saara Aalto way before Eurovision, some of her songs wwere one the main reasons why I stared loving music this much. So she reaching such levels, it feels so amazing, that random Finnish girl I found on Rovio's youtube channel singing about New Year is becoming an ESC star. I just can't explain it, I'm happy  |

It won't be really exciting to watch imo  |
