Dotan is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in Jerusalem, Israel. He scored a hit with his song "Home" 3 years ago within the Netherlands.
After the participation of the Common Linnets, he became highly rumoured to participate for his country.
In 2015 SBS Shownieuws have said that Dotan was the representative for the Netherlands for the contest in Sweden, this was later declared fake as Douwe Bob would represent the Netherlands.
MaanMaan winner of the voice of Holland 2016 showed her interest multiple times last year in multiple interviews,
but when a YouTuber asked her again in an interview she said It might be too early as she just won the Voice but as it's a year later anything can still happen.
She will appear on a show made by AVROTROS (the Dutch broadcaster) called "Beste Zangers" the same show OG3NE was on last year, it's presented by Jan Smit (the commentator of the Netherlands during Eurovision).
Sharon Doorson
Sharon Doorson is a Dutch singer with roots from Suriname. She participated in the Dutch version of Popstars and later won it with a group named Raffish (Eva Simons was in the same group)
The group didn't work out and she started a solo carrier. She participated later on in the second season of the Voice of Holland and managed to get to the semi-finals.
After this, she made multiple hit singles. She appeared last year on the show earlier mentioned called "Beste Zangers" by AVROTROS (the same season as OG3NE).
And on top of that in a show held every year before the Grand Final of Eurovision they ask artists what they think about the songs and the performances and what they want to see for the Netherlands in the future etc. She mentioned that she would like to participate if she was asked.
Eva Simons
Eva Simons is a worldwide star who made singles with Will.I.Am, Chris Brown and many more, showed her interest in participating for her country right after the Eurovision 2016.
She has said that she would be open for it if she got asked. She thinks that the Netherlands should send more dance/pop songs. If she got asked she wants to do everything herself.
She wants to pick her DJ and it has to be a loud dance track. That were her conditions.
Caro Emerald
Caro Emerald is a Dutch jazz singer with Aruban roots, with hits in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, she is considered one of most successful Dutch artist.
She has been rumoured for multiple years. In interviews, she always answered 'If I would get asked I will seriously think about it' to the question: 'Would you like to go to Eurovision for the Netherlands?'
She recently released new singles and a new album which sound all pretty good so who knows...
Teske
Teske de Schepper is a successful youtube and singer. She has said in radio programme 100% NL that she doesn't know if she can handle the pressure of the contest as she takes time for things,
she, unfortunately, sees Eurovision as something big and scary. Nevertheless she would consider it if she got asked.
