Hmm... The songs in this year's Sanremo is lackluster compared to last year, so there wasn't much to like tbh. However, the song of Meta and Moro is one of few exceptions. What I immediately love is the contrast between Ermal's smooth, soft voice and Fabrizio rougher, raspier voice. Together, they created an endearing and passionate piece about the harsh reality of war. I may not understand the language, but the intensity of their delivery is so strong that it constantly grabs my attention. Knowing that the message carries controversy, it just adds to the drama in the words, the lyrics, and the performance. I like the song a lot, but somehow, it's not a perfect 12 for me. It doesn't have that winner vibe which their song last year had (and then waned), but I do expect another strong result for Italy, which I still think is Big 5 country to beat in the contest in general. Much love. On a side note, they should rename themselves to Meta Moro. It just sounds cool.

The song is ok and I like it, but their voces are a bit weak sometimes and I think it lacks something. However I think this song can grow on me. Annalisa robbed

It looks like it's more popular than I thought it would. Because they've charted on #16 here which is higher than Il Volo (#19) and Francesco (#25). And I think it's the first time in a while that another Sanremo participant reaches our top 100, but Annalisa is on #71.

I was sceptical when I heard this live first, and after hearing the other entries, I kinda only found this decent enough, which did give me more chances for me to listen to it. and boy, that sure did help a lot, because it really grew on me.
the song takes a catchy, yet serious melody in it for the listeners, and mixed with Meta Moro's calm/raspy voice combo, together with the important message of the song, it makes the song shine a huge bunch. even without understanding Italian, you can clearly indicate that the song is trying to tell something serious, and the melody itself makes it a song that could easily be played on repeat. that's probably how I can describe this song the best: a perfect combo. well thought and well created. I can easily see this stand out in Lisbon (despite the minor dislikings from most eurofans, but hey, they barely represent 2% of every voter, so their opinion barely matters here). another year were I can stan Italy
