 I like it, but hate her voice in the verses.  I've known about this remix since quite a while (and I'm still waiting for it to be on the radio - mainly to surprise my Kosovar workmate with knowing Arilena  ). But honestly that's the first time I ever took a full listening. And it's actually pretty good!  |

HILDUR WILL REPRESENT  ICELAND!
Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins #23 has ended. After a few hours of result announcements, RÚV has officially announced that Hildur will represent them in the 23rd edition of North Vision Song Contest in  Stockholm, Sweden.
Who is Hildur?
Hildur Kristín Stefánsdóttir, otherwise just known as Hildur, is an Icelandic singer who has previously been a member of the group Rökkurró before eventually setting off on a solo career which has had success. Her song "I'll Walk with You" was quite successful in Iceland in 2016. She tried to represent Iceland in the fictional contest "Eurovision" with her song "Bammbaramm" but she failed to win the national selection. You might also recognize her from another attempt where she performed the song Fjaðrir, performed by the group SUNDAY (of which she was a member of). She sings in both  English and Icelandic.
Hildur has also tried to represent her country in North Vision before but was never chosen internally. However she won the national selection and will thus get the right to represent Iceland on their return. She had this to say after the selection:
"I'm very surprised, actually.. I never thought I would win in the first place considering the competition. People didn't think I could win too, but I'm glad that I did! I will do my best for Iceland and hopefully bring us back to the final".
She will sing the song Would you Change? in Stockholm.
