  Winner of Sanremo 23 announced!
After a tense results show, with 36 countries casting their votes, and performances from
Levante and  Myrath, in the end, a winner was determined. The winner can be found out in the spoiler below, but only check it after you have seen the full results!
JOAN THIELE - ARMENIA
   Thiele was born in Italy to an Italian mother and a Swiss father, spending her childhood in  Caratagena, Colombia. She moved to the  United Kingdom, which can be attributed to her love for the English language.
Her first single, "Save Me" received acclaim from critics. Another single of hers, "Lost Ones" was in Sanremo 21, where it placed fourth.
Her NVSC 23 song, "Armenia", was released on 25 August 2017, is sung entirely in English, making it the fifth time Italy sings entirely in English. It is written by Thiele and Gianmarco Caruso.
Joan claims that the song is about the Colombian city of Armenia, however, NVSC fans have speculated that the song is actually in relation to  Armenia's 7th place in the twenty-second edition, with Joan telling Armenia to not give up, despite the  point gap between them and sixth place Cyprus.

I am not talking about the group  Then let Tunisia comeback and sent that group, Morocco has much better artists... Its like sending Ariana Grande for Uzbekistan 😂😂 You mean like sending Albanian songs for Macedonia ?  Uhm really original answer 2 others were quicker 😂😂😂 |

Its like sending Ariana Grande for Uzbekistan 😂😂 I mean so does FYR Macedonia but you keep sending songs in Albanian  The "better artists" (aka the ones only you like) always flopped in my selections while the "worse" ones got me in the final twice and even a top 3 placement. also, for the last statement, it just shows how unaware you are of the rules of this contest  P. fucking S. I'm not sending cheap arab trash and ruin my results streak just for you to stop complaining about my entry every single edition  The one only I like excuse me I dont dislike all your entries. I just doesnt like to see my country sent trash thats all. Dont play the victim... I already explained to the previous guys that it was a suggestion by users if u want a macedonian song suggest it instead of complaining.
