Welcome once again to Chanson Pour L'Instant. We once again show off what we believe to be the very best of France in this calendar month. We didn't receive quite as many entries this edition - 91 (compared to 128 last time), but it was still hard work whittling it down tot he final 5. We really hope we made the right decisions...

Tess - Hard To Forget First up we have Réunion singer Tess with her latest single. This marks the first time a singer from the African island made it this far, and who knows? Maybe she will become the first ever representative from a territory.

Pompis - Un regardNext up is Lylah with 'Un regard'. She hopes to make it all the way and not flop like her Guadeloupean brethren from last month. She is accompanied by rapper Pompis, who recently released an album displaying a cartoon version of himself performing anal. I kid you not.
