SONG OF THE YEAR & SECOND CHANCE RESULTS SHOW TODAY @ 18:00 CET
Tagging everybody (NNMC #40 participants, SC & SOTY voters).
After consulting with Tufkai , the date and time has been set. The results of both the Second Chance Contest and Song of the Year will be revealed live in CyTube. If you are able to make it, please join us. We estimate the show to last an hour at most. The Second Chance results will be revealed first. Then, before the SOTY results, MaRtIn will share his Top 50 Favorite Entries of 2019. Afterwards, the SOTY results will be shown. But it's not over. Stay a little longer, and MaRtIn will share his Top 50 Eurovision Songs from 2010-2019 to wrap up the year and decade.
The room will open 15 minutes before the set time. I'll tag you all again. We hope to see as much of you all there.
Finally, some hints about which songs are in my Top 50: - Three of my Top 5 songs are from the same edition. - Two host entries are included. - 20 countries appear in the entire list only once. - 9/10 winners are included. - In blocks of ten, #31-#40 is the only block without a male act. - There are no Filipino entries (to avoid bias).
You're allowed to guess/speculate/hope that your entry is in the top 50. In the meantime, enjoy the wait!

MARTIN'S TOP 50 SONGS OF 2019
As the year comes to a close, I share with you all my Top 50 entries of this year. After almost 600 songs that participated this year, I narrowed it down to 50. Some grew on me a lot after the edition ended, so there may be surprises. One edition in particular was so strong IMO that I had three songs from there in the Top 5. Enjoy!
NNMC will resume on 02 January 2020. I hope to see you then.
P.S. - I'm also gonna try and publish the latest user/country ranking updates.

Hi guys! NNMC 41 will open on 02 January. We will proceed as normal thereafter, so look for the announcement on Thursday/Friday!
Anyway, the main point of this post - I need to get this out there. Since about March 2019, the council had been working diligently on building an NNMC Wiki to be located at nnmc.songcontests.eu. We were hoping to announce it at the beginning of 2020 for everyone to reference and edit. It would have had all the data for each edition and country's results, as well as some fun information about previous incidents, song choices, and themes. Some of you guys even helped contribute to editing it ( Alex Memphis & Marcos come to mind) - and it was probably 95% DONE. Then all the Wiki data was lost. GAH. And because the NNMC Wiki site was not yet "public," there isn't a cached version online like OESC or FC. It's plain gone. We're not salty about it, but it was saddening of course (my profile pic is to pay remembrances). We spent so many hours; I personally spent probably 100 hours. No exaggeration. Ironically nothing feels "lost" for most of you since it wasn't common knowledge to everyone, but a good portion of people knew about its existence. You just couldn't click to it from the website header. But not all is lost. We have an archived *version* of our old website data, which was last updated for NNMC 30, at web.archive.org/web/20190903223905/https://trendingmusiccontest.jimdo.com/ - you can look through each page as it was before we took down this site in September to be replaced by - you guessed it - the Wiki. Ironic. But for obvious reasons, hopefully I can speak on behalf of council here, none of us want to spend another 9 months building a wiki again. I still think we want a Wiki (?), so we will look into a quick solution in early 2020. And it will be public RIGHT AWAY lol. Martin will get the rules thread republished, as well. Y'all have been great to us and having previous results information available would be extremely useful to many of you. Finally, I wish you all an amazing New Year. Some major milestones await us, if all goes as planned NNMC will have its 50TH EDITION next year! Cheers \o/ -Greg

USER/COUNTRY RANKINGS after NNMC #40
It's been a couple editions since the rankings were published. Right now, I really wanted to publish the official user/country rankings so bad and so soon. However, time has not been friendly with me, which means I won't be able to create presentable charts of both rankings. I've made the ultimate decision to publish the plain version which Tufkai has made. I think there will be some inaccuracies concerning some of the information, which you can comment on for correction in the future. Overall, it's important that the rankings are shared for transparency. The essential parts of the charts are what matters after all.
Enjoy the charts! And thank you for your patience.
Click each link for their respective rankings. WARNING: LARGE FILES.

Throwback to 2016 when I came 3rd with Sarah Geronimo's song "Tala." + slayage live performance
Bringing this song to attention because for some reason, the song has just now, OVER THREE YEARS LATER... IN 2020... became a dance challenge. Even K-pop group MOMOLAND got involved. My favorite is when a cop and soldier did it.
Okay, now go back to living your useful lives.
