41st edition is the beginning of a new decade! So, I decided to send a song that started a new "life" in our country - one of it's first independence songs called "Native Language" (the idea of the song is that everything in your native language is better, by that meaning not only the language, but also having the freedom (any way you imagine freedom)). The song was possibly written earlier, but it's big rise came in 1986 (by winning "Song of the year" award), when basically all the independence movement started in Baltics. Plus, now we see that there's another territory in Europe trying to be independent, so it kinda fits! P.S. Thank's nijat for suggestion! Līvi - "Dzimtā Valoda" (1:53 onwards) PIC:

Germany I decided to send this song to honour Joy Fleming, Germany's ESC 1975 participant, who was not only an amazing singer but also a very gentle and kind person. She recently passed away at the age of 72 and I think this cover shows how passionate and how great of a vocalist she was. I hope you enjoy it Recap: 3:40+
