CYBC'S SUBMISSION FOR FOREIGN ACTS ALL AROUND GREECE AND TURKEY STARTED!
Today Cyprus' CYBC announced the launch of Cyprus' new project that will determine our participation on the 24th edition of the world-wide known Northvision Song Contest! Artists from Greece and Turkey will have the chance to receive one of the 10 entries from our annual National Selection, Northvision Song Project
In 31 December, CyBC the best candidates will be nominated by NVSP's jury in consultation with Cyprus. The winner will obviously receive the wildcard that will lead them to our project.
The nine selected Cypriot songs and the wildcard will be invited to battle it out in the Northvision Song Project #24

TIME FOR THE BIG REVEAL The time has come! It's time to finally reveal our act for  Austria!
But wait... A new song has been selected in the meantime?
Yes that's right, the previously selected entrant recently refused to participate in the main contest as they don't feel ready for this. Instead they will participate in a national selection in the future. That means the previously revealed hints are all unimportant now.
This message actually shocked the delegation...
...as a new entrant has to be chosen.
Ukrainian HoD: "That's a pity that we can't see our actually selected group in the Northvision Song Contest. We were sure they would have impressed the audience all around Europe, but they made a decision that we can't control. At least they are interested in participating in a NS if there will be one in the future.
After their withdrawal, we had to search for another interested and at the same time special act for NVSC #24. And we are glad that we could find a suitable one."

  Svitlana Vasilivna Tarabarova (commonly known as TARABAROVA) is an Ukrainian singer-songwriter, composer and actor. She is born in Kherson the 26 July 1990 (age 27) and is already quite known in Ukraine due to winning the national award of "Song of the Year 2014". Some of you might recognize her as she participated in the Ukrainian national selection for the ESC 2016, where she failed to qualify to the final of the NS with her song "Never Again". She never lost the interest in participating in such a great contest as the ESC, so now she finally gets the direct opportunity to compete against other artists from all around Europe, without even going through a national selection! Tarabarova: "I'm so grateful for the Ukrainian NVSC delegation that they have actually chosen me to compete for my great homeland! The shock back then in the ESC NS was hard for me, but now I have hope that finally Europe discovers my talent and my meaningful messages in my songs."The song she will perform on the stage in Austria is called "Tsunami". Basically she descibes the love between two persons as a tsunami which flows over them. Have fun listening to our act for the NVSC #24! Feel free to tell your opinion about the song!
