LTV CONFIRMS LATVIAN RETURN
AT THE 24TH NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST
10/18/2017, RIGA - The Latvian broadcaster LTV confirmed the Latvian participation for the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. The broadcaster confirmed that the format to choose their entry will be Supernova as selection method for the edition.
"As of now, we can confirm that our selection will decide our entry and hopefully produce us a new star in Europe! We have yet to decide the amount of entries that will take part, but submissions are open!", was said by the new Latvian Head of Delegation Selvin De La Fuente.
The new Latvian team will try to make Latvia amazing with beavers.

 TV2 revealed that the country will participate in the 24th Northvision Song Contest. The entry will be chosen by the traditional Hungarian way so a selection will be held. 24 artists have already submitted a song to be chosen as the act to represent the country. The method from the previous edition (jury+televoting) will make a comeback. You can already sign up as a jury if you wish to. The schedule and course of selection is still not set. |

United Kingdom to be present in NVSC 24
10/18/2017, LONDON - British Broadcasting Corporation can confirm that the United Kingdom will be returning the next edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The team have been thrilled at the response to our current entrant Mollie and we're wishing her all the luck in the finals. With that in mind, we're planning either a small selection once again or internal selection. The choice has yet to be finalised however.

Possible refusal to participate. The head of French delegation said about crisis of country at the competition. "We need a completely new approach in selection of artists and songs, last two editions of the competition showed us that we are moving in the wrong direction. Soon to be new strategy for participation and we sincerely hope that it will be successful for us. We managed to find the necessary sources." At the moment delegation is actively working on the bugs. Will participate France or not is unknown. |

 RTL confirms Luxembourg's presence!
RTL held a press conference today regarding Luxembourg's comeback to the North Vision Song Contest which also saw
the network submitting its semi-final votes in live television.
At the near end of the conference, it was confirmed that Luxembourg would participate in the twenty-fourth North
Vision Song Contest. Regarding the edition, the HoD stated,
"We are currently thinking of the options, but the final
decision will be made either after the semi-final or final
results. A national selection does seem likely, however."
Update: RTL just confirmed that it
will select with a national selection!

TNV confirms the participation of Turkey at the upcoming NorthVision Song Contest!
The entry will be selected through Turkish Popstar 16. More details will be revealed in due course.

  Greece will participate in North Vision Song Contest #24!A website,where everything related to the contest will be posted there.It is still under construction,as polls,live chats etc might be added soon.

NATIONAL SELECTION FOR NVSC 24
10/18/2017, LONDON - British Broadcasting Corporation can confirm today that after early speculation about whether to base what our selection process would be on the terms of Mollie's result, that we have taken it into our own choice that due to the popularity of the process of our National Selection, that this will be the route we go for NVSC 24. The contest has been confirmed today with BBC Scotland to be held in the city of Glasgow.
A statement was given by the head of the department earlier on BBC Breakfast -
"We're hoping to bring diverse areas of music from the British industry to this selection but can't make any firm promises, however we must not rest on our laurels as we do have various genres of music within the United Kingdom and it would be an immense selection once again if we do embark on finding music that we think can be liked by not just us here in the UK but out in the continent. We have artists already in contact but we're ready to see who or what we find."
