Germany confirms participation
Hamburg, Germany - NDR can finally confirm that Germany will be present at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. Following several national selection formats, the broadcaster's plans for the 24th edition will be revealed very soon. German artists can now submit their original songs or covers on northvision.de/bewerbung.

Also the first episode of "FRESH" - a show engaging in showing new music from outside of the NVSC realms was aired to our younger fans last night in the UK with excellent feedback. All NBU nations and associate members are welcome to see that here and learn more about South-Korean/American artist Yaeji.

 FINLAND CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION YLE can once again confirm the Finnish participation in the next edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Finland has enjoyed some success in North Vision as of recent, and as public interest and television ratings remain high, YLE sees no reason for the country to withdraw its participation. SMK  As in the last two editions, SMK will be used to select the Finnish entry for the 24th edition once again. SMK has already proven a competent format, but YLE is ready to make some changes to it as well. International juries will be introduced to the selection for the first time ever. |

 LBC CHANGE ITS PLANS,
NATIONAL SELECTION TO BE HELD !
BEIRUT, 5 NOVEMBER 2017.
After 2 weeks and the confirmation that  Lebanon will be returning
in the Northvision Song Contest after a break of one edition, due to the HoD change,
it was firstly announced that the delegation would privilegiate an Internal Selection,
however, after some discussions with the new delegation, it was confirmed that the
Lebanese Broadcaster, LBC, will be hosting a new National Selection, named :
 can I get the award of the cheapest NS name ?
A Song for Lebanon will be used to choose the Lebanese representative in NVSC #24,
and possibly in the future, depending of the Lebanese results in the contest.
The NS will see 5 Singers, and so 5 Songs from Lebanon (or having roots from Lebanon)
to compete, and where a set of
5 International Juries Member (25% of the final results)
5 Lebanese Jury Members (25% of the final results),
and the Lebanese Televote (50% of the final results),
will be deciding the results of the selection, and so, the Lebanese entry.
The selection is planning to start after the end of the current edition.
