So...last month we had no confidence in our selection, but we actually qualified to the final and finished 24th.
This edition, we feel quite a bit more confident. Let's hope it doesn't backfire

Song #01 -

Marina Kaye - Something

First up is a singer who needs no introduction. Not only does she prevent this selection from being as white as the last one, but she is also notable for winning the contest for France back in edition #2. Her offering this edition is a power-ballad - shame this isn't Germany, or else she'd be a guaranteed finalist

Song #02 -

Claudio Capeo - Dis-le-moi

Next we have Claudio Capeo, who last attempted to participate in NNMC #14, where he finished 4th in the live final. Last time he sent a slow-paced ballad, but now he's back with a more upbeat entry. He's also gone from a seaside location to a funfair. Is that somehow metaphorical?

Song #03 -

Marvin Dupre - Promets-le-moi

While all the other finalists have entered CPL before, Marvin Dupre is the only newcomer of the bunch. He is also the only one with no video, but we can add one if he wins ~~and it won't be from some random Polish singer~~

Song #04 -

Imany - There Were Tears

Imany is a woman of many talents - including scoring number ones in Russia ~~and triggering Turkmen HoDs~~. Will she add being able to win Chanson Pour L'Instant to that list?

Song #05 -

Caroline Costa feat.

france Nico Lilliu - Maintenant

And finally we have Caroline Costa, of Northvision and WWWSC fame. She is joined by Italian-French singer Nico Lilliu, and hopes she will not flop like our last two contestants of Portuguese origin
