Announcement Thread
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 19 will be the event that will select the Danish entry for the upcoming 24th edition of the North Vision Song Contest.After confirming the country's participation about a month ago, DR has just announced the details regarding the next edition of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. The format of the selection will remain the same as in previous edition; the selection will consist of one final with ten songs competing in it. The jury/televoting voting system will also be used again. However, this time the juries will be selected by the broadcaster through a jury application, where countries will be able to apply in order to become a jury.
The Songs
DR received a total of 1,288 songs this editon. As in the previous editions, 10 songs were selected by a jury panel made up of songwriters, producers and DR members. The ten songs will be presented one by one in the following days.

The Juries
The jury panel will consist of 12 countries this edition. Just like last edition, the juries will be selected by DR based on several criteria. However, this time HoDs (and co-HoDs) will be able to apply for a jury spot. The only confirmed jury is the most recent winner of the contest and therefore host of the 24th edition. The rest of the juries will be revealed after all the songs have been revealed.
