INTERESTING FACT: even though I found out about Laura only very recently, she isn't as unknown as we might think! As she's living in NYC for a few years already, she has gained some popularity there as well.
Even singers like Jennifer Lopez have noticed her (even though she probably isn't the only musician living in NYC (and more so in USA), that speaks portuguese). Laura was hired by Sony Music to work in the studio with Jennifer Lopez, as a vocal coach for the ballad “Chegaste”, released by Jennifer in partnership with Brazilian music mogul Roberto Carlos.

Here's the song: I think Laura has done brillian job teaching Jennifer the portuguese pronounciation.
