  DRT confirms the country's participation in the 11th edition of the Fantasia contest, following the achievement of another successful qualification to the grand final in  Rio De Fevereiro.INTERNAL ARTIST SELECTION For the first time since the 7th edition, the broadcaster has opted for an internal selection of the artist who will wave the Demacian flag in the contest.
Following the delegation's world-wide search, we had to go all the way to the  Ruyjin Republic to find the one who could manage to achieve the best possible result in the contest.
Famous singer  Lady Gaga talking about our representative. Without further ado, it's time to find out who they are.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome...
 RINA SAWAYAMA
 Rina Sawayama was born on the 8th of August, 1990 in Solyo, Jarea. She lived there until the age of five when her family decided to move to Buvelle, Demacia, where she was raised.
While studying politics, psychology and sociology at the University of Dambridge, she decided to pursue music and modelling. During her time at university, she was in a hip hop group called Lazy Lion with Theo Ellis from the indie rock band  Wolf Alice.
In hopes to pursue a solo career, Rina ultimately moved to the Ruyjin Republic, where she currently lives and works, as she felt that her genre and her work would be represented and appreciated better than it'd do in Demacia.
You can listen to her debut EP, RINA, on Spotify.
It is still unknown whether the song she will perform will be chosen internally or via a national selection.
Until then, we'd like to wish the best of luck to our current representative in Aquia, BELLSAINT, and may she achieve a great result!

The Glacean Sound 5 to begin shortly!
Today, the Glacean broadcaster (GLTV) has revealed that the final line-up for the National Selection has been decided.
Despite, announcing that 10 acts would participate, it turns out that 6 artists will fight to represent the country in the 11th edition of Fantasia Contest!
The National Selection is set to start tonight!

IT'S POPPY!
FOXTV has confirmed today that they will participate again in the 11th edition of Fantasia Contest. It was also announced that the Foxtavian YouTube sensation Poppy will represent the country. It will be the second time she represents Foxtavia, after getting second in the first edition of Junior Fantasia Contest.
The entry is already chosen and will be announced soon!

 Greta Isaac for Dýria!
DRTV has just announced ahead of the grand final results of the 10th edition that Dýrian singer Greta Isaac would be representing the country at the 11th edition of Fantasia Contest, marking Dýria's 11th participation.
Greta is a Dýrian singer who was born in Zolotoy, Golden Land. She moved back to Dýria shortly after that, to a village near the border with Golden Land. Eventually she and her familly decided to settle in Dyflinnjaborg, Dýria's capital.
Realizing her potential, she decided to take the chance and apply to represent Dýria in Fantasia Contest. This isn't her first time applying - as she did try to apply to DRTV during the 9th edition, revealing that she came quite close to making it to the national selection.
However, Greta was ultimately the artist that was chosen by DRTV to represent the country this time around. She announced on Rawr that;
Representing Dýria will be one of the best moments of my life for sure. I cannot believe I got chosen to represent our country. I promise I will do my best and enjoy myself. Takk fyrir DRTV and to all of my fans too! xx
Dýrian diva Nene Leakes has announced that the Dýrian entry would be presented on her talk show, Late Night with Nene Leakes, in February 2018.
In the meantime, we obviously wish the best of luck to all finalists of the 10th edition as the results come, and especially to Hildur!

 FBC confirms the Fordian participation for the 11th Fantasia Contest. The One will once again select the Fordian entry with some minor changes. From now on only eight artists will take part in the Lieder Rund and only three singers in the Artisten Rund. FBC also revealed who's going to participate in the two rounds.

Following the qualification of Myrkur, the Achróan broadcaster STA decided today to shun the rumours of a potential national selection and announced that the nation would, once again, switch to an internal selection.
STA also announced that they have selected an entry for the upcoming edition. The following acclaimed music news sites had these few things to say about the upcoming entry, oblivious to its participation in the Fantasia Contest:

The Jezabels is an Achróan band who came to national prominence with their first album Prisoner, in which one of the tracks (Peace of Mind) reached #1 in Achróa. Their next album was not a success, but The Jezabels returned to fame upon the release of the their third and latest album Synthia, as well as gaining international prominence for the first time.
The band's work has been described as art/dream pop with an influence of alternative rock. They are renowned for their soaring crescendi - one of their most notable is that in Stamina, which upon its late release as a single in Achróa soared to #1, making it the first number one single of 2018.
It is a 7 minute piece, which STA recognises is a significant risk. Longer entries, in general, do not tend to do well; but STA believes it is necessary to send such lengthy songs in order to promote the Achróan music scene.

Zoë LaGarde, owner of Radio Baphomet and Tristan Saurel, Director-General of TéleJuli announced today in a press conference in Armada City, that Juliana would be represented by Armadan hip-hop singer known as "The Buttress", real name Bethany Schmitt.
"For decades, the Julianoise government has repressed and discriminated against us Armadans and our practices, and it is an honor to be able to represent our people on an international stage with a traditional Armadan music genre." The Buttress said in the press conference.
She'll perform the song "Brutus".
