Niolskiaj to opt for a national selectionFollowing their confirmation at the end of 2017 regarding participation in the 11th edition of Fantasia Contest, today NN has confirmed the exciting news that  Niolskiaj will be using a brand new national selection format to select their first ever entrant. In hope of getting Niolskiaj to the best possible start in the contest, the broadcaster secretly opened submissions to a variety of artists in a variety of genres around the country, and a line-up of eight songs and artists has been created. Additionally, NN released promotional pictures of the eight entries, releasing pictures of their thumbnails, which you can find below.
 
It is believed that the voting system will be poll-only, and will open in the coming days. |

 Sevdaliza will represent Aquia!
A national selection between six songs will still take place.
Some days before the results of the tenth edition in the biggest city of the country, it has been announced that Sevdaliza will wave the Aquian flag next edition.
Sevda Alizadeh (born 1 September 1987), known professionally as Sevdaliza, is an Aquian singer, songwriter and record producer. In 2015, she released two extended plays, The Suspended Kid and Children of Silk. While her music is typically in Engju, she released her first Semitican-language song "Bebin" in early 2017 in protest of Executive Order 13769. Her debut album, ISON, was released on 26 April 2017.
The National Selection will start tonight, with an undefined deadline for voting. ALKYRIA CONFIRMS!
After a long pause which put most of the fans to think about a possible withdrawal of the republic from Fantasia Contest, Hellex Group Production has yet again confirmed for the 11th edition. As usual, the entrant(s) will be revealed via internal selection.
In the past 2 editions, the artists interest started dropping in a bigger level, therefore shrinking Alkyria's possibilities. Because of this matter, the broadcaster had to decide for a longer time whether withdrawal was a better option. The presence was confirmed by the broadcaster's director in the late afternoon, yet the fate of the country in Fantasia Contest in the nearby future remains under question.
Alkyria's last final was in the 8th edition, which managed to achieve the 13th place overall. Since then, the Alkyrian Republic has started failing - with the worst result to date being 11th in the semi-final. The results that The Author & Astha received in the semi-final haven't been revealed yet, despite achieving the second failure for the nation. |
