Georgian Public Broadcaster confirmed participation in Morocco with the announcement of selecting the entry by hosting the national selection for the first time since #20.
The event consisted of 10 performances selected by the Georgian delegation.

MALIIBU - "WHERE"

Maliibu has never tried to represent her homeland before. She's a Georgian singer and songwriter. At the age of 17, she decided to start living independently and moved to Tbilisi.

I put all of my emotions and my feelings into my song, because to me it’s not just the notes assembled into a track. This song is very important to me because when I was writing it, I felt a power that I could do everything for my little country. When I can give people strength with my songs, it makes me so happy and it makes me smile.

"Where" received 193 points in the national selection and will therefore represent Georgia in the 25th edition of NVSC.

HAEVN wins Noord Visie Song Festival 07 with their song "Fortitude"
The band managed to win both the semi-finals with a positive response of 71%
and in the end, won the grand final with 25% of the total vote.
Combined they would've have received a total of 22% of the points
making them the winner of this night.

The duo CUT_ with their song "Electrify" came 2nd with 20% of the total vote.

Fun facts:
This is the first song sung by a male the Netherlands has sent since #17.
"Fortitude" was featured in the popular TV-show Riverdale, episode 1 season 2.
HAEVN has tried to represent the Netherlands before in the 4th edition of the selection, placing 6th in the final.

ICELANDIC ENTRY FOUND!

After a very exciting evening, and hosting a joint show with

AVROTROS, the

Dutch broadcaster, our national selection Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins 25 has finally come to an end. Over 6/7 of the results were announced by the

Icelandic broadcaster last night, and the winner was finally revealed this evening. You can check the rest of the results here before opening the spoiler with the final result.
Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone who voted in our national selection and also to

AVROTROS for inviting us to reveal our entry with them.

The act that will represent

BLISSFUL!

BLISSFUL is a collaboration between

Svala Björgvinsdóttir (Svala) and Einar Egilsson.

Svala is already well known in her country, having released her single The Real Me in

Iceland in 2001, which was quite popular. In 2006, she and her husband-to-be (the pair married in 2013), Einar, formed Steed Lord, which was based in

Los Angeles and

Reykjavik. The group not only had success in

Iceland, but most notably in

Ireland - when RTÉ commented that their album The Prophecy Part 1 was the best album of the year.
In 2017, BLISSFUL was formed. They participated in Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins #24, with their song Make it Better, but they were unsuccessful in their attempt as they only got 3rd. This time, however, they won the right to represent

Iceland in

Morocco.
After winning, Svala announced that she "couldn't believe the result and the turnout. I thought representing my country in North Vision would stay as a dream, but my dream just came through and I am so proud!

They will of course sing their song Find a Way in

Morocco. Take a listen below!

RÚV ended with group E in their results presentation, here is the result from group F and thus the final result of the national selection.
