A song for Switzerland #8

I'm also opening a poll already just that I don't forget about it.


My first 7 entries were all by a female solo artist or at least a woman was credited there. Since then that changed drastically. Did you ever wonder why? Because since quite some time there's been a discussion going on here about the Swiss music industry having a problem with the lack of female artists getting recognition. That includes the suggestion of having a gender balance at the music awards...

So despite having planned my next 5 entries already I decided to mess it all up and instead having another little poll - with only female songs of course.

And they are:



Danitsa - Bachata



Born in Paris, but raised in Geneva, Danitsa is predicted to have a wonderful career ahead. Also she's artist of March 2014 on the radio. Her song Captain is currently underway to become a thing too - or at least said to be. However as it doesn't have a music video yet I'm using another song of hers (which I like more anyway ).




Anna Känzig - Dream alone



Anna was having a break after her second album in 2016. A week ago she released a new song and therefore I guess the third album is underway. I've actually always wanted to send her, but it's always been the wrong time lol.




Eliane - Dear Home



Eliane's already 4th album came out in November and became a success right away and charted on #1. That's funny since the previous ones reached #4, #3 and #2 (in that order). Dear home is the second released single and as the title already claims about homesickness.
