PRESENTING
Welcome to Daniel's Song Race!
Don't be scared, this has nothing to do with Drag Race, although I kind of stole the format.
I've had this idea randomly at work and wanted to start a song contest since a long time anyway.
This song contest will differ from most of the contests the forums have seen so far.
Song Race is not edition based, it is a series.
And this is how it works:
• Every user competes as themselves, a participant (no countries, no fixed singers) or as a judge
• Judges will not be able to compete in the season they're judging in
• The contest will run weekly, with a new Category weekly
• The Categories will vary and they will be based on certain themes, which will give users the challenge to find fitting songs
• Any songs are allowed (Similar to my previous contest Rising Star), this includes Eurovision songs, overused songs, memes etc.
• Every week, all participants will have to send a song they think fits the Category the most
• A recap of all songs will be presented after the submission deadline
• The jury consisting of me and four other judges will decide, which users are the tops and bottoms of the week
• After that, everyone else will vote on who's the winner and who will be eliminated that week
• The winning user will be determined in the grand final, where 3 users are left
