 I really dislike the song and therefore don't mind it being so low No T No shade, No pam no ham no ma'am Idk if you voted in my ns or not but it goes to all the dislikers/haters You had a chance to vote in my selection and pick a "better" song for Hungary! Bye Apart from the fact that not voting in a NS doesn't take away my right to express my opinion about a song (and I know from own experience how annoying it must be for someone to read such comments from someone who didn't vote in a NS) I just want to add that my dislike of the song is also amplified by the fact that you usually manage to select good songs. I am totally devastated. I don't know what can I say about the results. This is why I didn't use spoilers as I just can't express my emotions and feelings about it... After a billion of bad results I feel like I could never find a song that people would like and it is definitely not the fault of my country's music industry...I was rather confident about this song... EDIT: Before I get bombarded by shady, mean, insulting comments. I knew I wouldn't win and totally not reach top 10 places, but I still thought it would be somewhere in the middle. don't want to be mean or anything
but in 22nd edition you reached amazing 4th place
I really don't understand why are you complaining when some countries barely reach the final
also your qualification rate is pretty good in general,
I mean for example Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania who qualify every 5 editions etc and you who manage to bring Hungary in a final 3 times in a row complain, Serbia last qualification before this was 17, while you manage to qualify in 17 + in 22-24
imo if your songs keep doing bad, change them a bit, find some more interesting choices, risk etc...if Morocco can win why can't Hungary or any other country, every country has a potential to do well, you just need to find the right song that will suit people's tastes, just because you like song you sent that doesn't mean it would do good, I mean final was strong ( at least for me) and I think lil things made up the results, also if no one liked your song it wouldn't qualify, be happy for that, final is already a good result
I consider my great result in 22 not really a big deal. Don't get me wrong but I only did well because it was a hyped song from "A Dal" otherwise I wouldn't even qualify with my original ideas for that edition. Did you see my track record when it comes to finals tho? Since the very first edition I was only in like 7-8 times...so I know the feeling of not qualifying. Black&White wouldn't qualify if it weren't AQ either imo... Yeah I might comolain but I honestly don't know how I feel. I'll be honest this song wasn't even in for my selection originally but then one artist passed away therefore I had to switch and then bam she slayed the selection! That's why I felt confident about "Shouldn't" in the selection's final she was 20+ points ahead the runner up. That gave me hope I might do well, not my personal taste and etc.. |

Also some songs that generally do good in nvsc are from hyped artists or already hyped songs by everyone (My Heart's Grave suited most of forum tastes and so it won) Also I mean Andee with B&W song was pre-last and you expect she will do well with similar song, afterall like I told you be happy with Final. maybe runner-up or any other song in your ns wouldn't give you even that |

I thought she would be like from 15-20. So that's not the best obviously, just slightly better. |

Without getting really in at the topic since I'm not the HoD, me and Gery just felt that our only great result so far since we're a team was with Hosszú Idők which wasn't a really big search to find since it took part in A Dal and everyone knew it.
Don't get me wrong, we were super happy about the great position and the AQ spot, but we just really believed in Andi's songs, based on NS results, overall reception and (I guess) the BO .
After all it's a contest, of course everyone reaches a different result, we're thankful for qualifying to the Final and we'll work harder to bring more diversity into our selections and therefore send a song that's liked by the community.

I think qualifying is the main thing that you should be happy about - a good result in the end is a bonus. I qualified this time after being predicted to end in the PQR even  Yes I got 25th in the end, but the main thing for me and this contest is that I'm able to showcase the  Icelandic music industry. Results come with the whole package I know, but they shouldn't really matter too much in the end. It's a competition yes, but it's also a fun environment where you can showcase music and discover music from other countries too.  |
