I think qualifying is the main thing that you should be happy about - a good result in the end is a bonus. I qualified this time after being predicted to end in the PQR even  Yes I got 25th in the end, but the main thing for me and this contest is that I'm able to showcase the  Icelandic music industry. Results come with the whole package I know, but they shouldn't really matter too much in the end. It's a competition yes, but it's also a fun environment where you can showcase music and discover music from other countries too.  I am constantly disappointed because I desperately want to do well..idk...I really enjoy the contest for what it is and do love so many songs/artists thanks to that itself. I just want to win something once (maybe? Idk.) The reason I avoid the forums is literally because I want to experience this song contest like I do with ESC, (hell I might even love NVSC more than ESC) so to enjoy the different styles of music and vote without being biased as I don't really know what's going on behind the scenes mostly. |

whew, we stan that legend so I don't even know from where to begin with. Let's start with the NS, making a National Selection doesn't mean that it will secure you/Hungary a good place even if every single participant votes (hope you know what diversity means). Also, it's your choice to pick a ''better'' song for Hungary, it's you who selects the songs for your National Selection so it would be good to stop trying to throw the blame on the voters lmao you should be happy for even qualifying. It would be nice to stop complaining about everything when your results on the last editions are getting better (you even top 5'ed 2 editions ago), some people can't even qualify and as you can see they don't complain. If you don't like being discriminated you could just withdraw and give your space to someone that isn't all about the result, thanks for your time honey.
 Well I do consider withdrawing so thank you for your wise advice As Vuka said, NS's don't resonate the right outcome. The winner of my last national selection was Paloma Faith and where did I just finish? No shade or anything ... |

I just don't like that people say this and that and they didn't even bother vote once in my selections or to look at the other songs in my setlist and claim I lack diversity...Because I do have many genres of music in my selections I even aim for that. (Maybe not for #25 currently) |

 I must admit, when I first decided to take  Luxembourg, I only did it for borrowing songs from  Belgium. But now having realized how great its native industry is, I can't imagine doing that (at least for now?). Regarding the result, I had high hopes for a Top 6 result when I initially sent my entry, but had doubts after all the predictions. To get fourth place with a native act (*cough* Reigan *cough*) is amazing, thanks to everyone who voted for Fall in Love  Special thanks to the  Norwegian,  Portuguese jury and  Hungarian,  Lithuanian televote for  in the final. Another thanks to the  Liechtensteiner, Norwegian jury and  Greek,  Lebanese, Lithuanian,  Czech, Hungarian televote for in the semi-final — which brought Luxembourg it's first ever victory.
Moving on the the results:  Sorry, but never liked this from the beginning, deserved last place.  It's not bad, but utterly fails to stand out in a final of 26 songs.  Criminally underrated ;____;  Criminally underrated ;____; [2] Should've placed higher.  A deserving position, but still should've been a bit higher.  Should've placed higher. [2] Criminally underrated ;____; [3]  Should've placed higher. [3] Meh, overrated tbh.  A deserving position. [2]  Never saw anything in this song, overrated. [2]  Should've placed higher. [4]  A deserving position. [3]  A deserving position. [4]  This song grew off me a long time ago, but a deserving position still. [5]  My personal winner (for the 2nd time in a row). <333 Criminally underrated. [4] Still amazing and should've placed a bit higher. [5]  Glad this masterpiece did well, although it should've been higher. [6]  Between this and the 6th, it deserved AQ, but overall a deserved position. <333 [6]  This song slightly grew on me, but still shouldn't have been this high. [3]  My runner-up of the edition <333 Surprised this underrated bop didn't win. [7]  A deserving position. [7]  It's nice, but tbh shouldn't have been this high. [4]  Although it only received  from me, this song has grew on me. Congratulations for the victory.  See you in the next final, and who knows, you may see a familiar face!  |

I'm taking as example my country, - which is a country that usually do floppy in contest - which Luca said by quoting his reaction post  even though I'm quite happy to see Lebanon in the final again, please do it the next time with a better song  I also made a NS this edition, and he also had the possibility to choose another song from the 5 I had, do I have to get mad at him because he disliked my entry this edition ? No I don't. Do I have to get mad at every people that think my song was overrated ? No. Because I know it's their opinion. |

Still mourning about Tom Grennan and "Found What I've Been Looking For" (which is also the main theme for BT's Premierleague pre- and post-matches, coughwhenwillPalomacough - Not suprised TBVH. - Considering the SF1, where we had Greece, France etc., and that this was a song I didn't hear in other contests (at least the ones I follow), you should be happy you qualified. It's a good song, it was in my TOP15, but this is a game and you shouldn't be so pissed. - Too boring, nothing special, sorry. - ROBBED, my 7pointer  - Bit sad, but can't say I expected for this to be higher, my 2pointer. - Ay Dios mio, that jury flop. But [2] - Hate it and IMO too high, sorry. - ROBBED [2], my 10pointer. - I liked it, but I can't say I expected a higher plamenent, my 1pointer. - Considering that I still listen "Boomerang" from FF24, my minidevil is having a party now. Great quality entry! - I'm really not a fan of this song, but congrats to Tom for AQ next edition with a native born singer from this country. - YIKES, that televote flop Still, Irina is one of the rare singers to snatch that AQ more than once and it's an achievement (And when will Moldova send her to ESC?) - terribly overrated. Hate it with passion. - Eventhough I gave only 4 points to it, it's a well deserved winner. Congrats to Andreas, who had Morocco for a short period of time, but managed to show a lot of musical diversity. I hope Callum will continue your work successfully. Special mention to the council for their scoreboard, it's bjutiful. And see you in the next edition! |

I am totally devastated. I don't know what can I say about the results. This is why I didn't use spoilers as I just can't express my emotions and feelings about it... After a billion of bad results I feel like I could never find a song that people would like and it is definitely not the fault of my country's music industry...I was rather confident about this song... Listen Gery. I'm not trying to disrespect you or anything but I am so sick of you complaining and acting up when things in NVSC don't go your way. I understand your thoughts of being in the middle and I even thought the same thing. But this is the 3rd time in 3 years that you go and react to your results. There are 47 flops that participated. 47 motherfucking flops that participated which means 21 didn't go to the finals unlike you. You should be lucky you at least made it to the final or to simplify, participated in the first place. Even in the 22nd edition you were 5th place. 5th place out of 26 people. That's amazing. Like Vukasin said, there are countries that flop way too much in this competition.  Lithuania hasn't qualified in the last 3 (including this one),  Serbia hasn't qualified in the last 6, and even  Bosnia & Herzegovina hasn't qualified in the last 7. The last time they did qualify was with Maya. I don't see Rethnas, Rytis, Marko, Vukasin, Lazar or Alexandru throw online temper tantrums. And then there's you. You were in the final for 3 editions and yet you still bitch about it. The more you bitch about your results, the more negative attention you are getting here. Once again, I am not trying to be mean. I am actually trying to help you. We are all trying to help you. So try taking it that way. thx. |
