So it's 1:0 for  Croatia now. That means it's gonna end either the same 1:0 or 2:0... there's no way Croatia will now concede... It also means Croatia joins  Russia,  Uruguay and  France in knockouts... that also means I get only  for today, which I already expected...  It get's even worse - 3:0. This only means  Iceland has a really good chance to get into knockouts, which no one would've expected... I did - or at least hoped lol. Btw. I personally also don't think their chances increase that much. Or maybe there's something I missed lmao. |

Their chances are massive now actually, because they just need any win against  Nigeria, and  Argentina in the last round will need a massive win against Nigeria themselves, plus they will need Iceland to lose against Croatia in the last round. Goal difference is the main objective after points they get for a win/draw/loss, and Argetina's goal difference doesn't look very good now (-3), while Iceland is on 0, but if they win today, they will be on positive goal difference. If Iceland wins today, that would make the situation in the group like this - Croatia  , Iceland  , Argentina and Nigeria  . Basically what I mean with all this is that Argentina is hoping for a draw in today's game at best or at least Nigeria's win - they definitely don't want to see Iceland win. If Iceland and Nigeria draw today (if that happens - Iceland  , Argentina , Nigeria ), that would mean that all 3 of them would need a win in the last round to be sure that they have qualified. Iceland's win vs Croatia in the last round doesn't look very much possible (I'd say draw at best), but Argentina's win vs Nigeria is very much possible. I hope I wrote everything clear enough to understand the situation in the group  |
