FORMAT
"North Vision: Your Decision 26" will be used to select the entrant and entry which will represent the United Kingdom at the twenty-sixth edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
The contest will consist of five rounds: three semi-finals, a second chance and a grand final. A total of twenty-four entries will be divided into the three semi-finals, having eight songs in each fighting for a spot in the final. Only the top three of each semi-final will directly qualify to the final. The second chance round will consist of a battle between the fourth place of each semi-final, from which only the winner of it will join the final as well. The winner of the grand final will represent the United Kingdom at the North Vision Song Contest 26.
VOTING METHOD
In the semi-finals, there will only be televoting, in which everybody will be able to vote, rating each song with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 50,000 points.
In the second chance, there will only be televoting too, but with a different format. You will have to spread 20,000 points among the entries.
In the grand final, there will be a jury voting and a televoting. After the second chance, NBU (co-)heads of delegations will be able to apply for one of the ten jury spots. Those who voted in the most rounds will have preference to be chosen. The juries will vote by awarding the entries
, and the televoting, which includes everyone who isn't a jury, will rate all of the songs; giving a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 100,000 points. Other users which might have voted regurally might get the number of votes extended.ENTRIES
The entries will be announced through one-minute previews. The previews of each semi-final will be posted before it takes place and after the previous semi-final has finished.
