I would never eat Balut. Even if somebody would give 1 million dollars for eating that! NO! NEVER!

Next topic? Aside from balut/balot, what else do you think of when you hear the country, Philippines? Well, the capital city of the Philippines (Manila) kinda reminds me of vanila ;D

Okay, this isn't disgusting anymore. This is called 'halo-halo' or literally mix-mix in English. It is a dessert to compromise with the heat we always experience here. It is a mix of the following: sweet palm fruit, silky coconut, jackfruit, mung bean, banana-like plantain, purple yam, corn, coconut gelatin, pounded dried rice, crème caramel, pearls and ice cream (optional). Of course, it differs from one vendor to another. ;D See it for yourself:

Ew Most foreigners have the same reaction as yours. I can definitely imagine. ;D By the way, the blood of the duck is still in its watery form so it's as if you're sipping an ordinary soup from an egg shell. EWWWWWW

Volcanoes Speaking of volcanoes, we used to have a perfect cone-shaped volcano named, Mayon Volcano in Albay but it's not a perfect cone-shaped anymore. Oh yeah I've heard of this before. Ya know, I collect Guinness World Record books, and I believe it was featured on one of the latest versions Btw Balut looks tasty for me. I'm not fussy in this case Everything with chicken can solve my hunger ;D Oh I've found out that Thailand has "Kai Khao", which is similar to the Philippines' "Balut". It's fertilized with an embryo for "Kai Khao".
