YURIAKUT24 Statement on the Torlova-Corzazjan conflict The Foreign Ministry has today come out with a statement in relation to the ongoing dispute between the two nations of Torlova and Corzazjan.
Our nation values world peace, prosperity, and success, which is something that we have shown in our diplomacy. However, it is entirely unacceptable for the current conflict that is ongoing between the nations to continue much longer. Flírskmasto is more than willing to host peace talks between all entities involved in the conflict, for the stability of the region affected. Our current stance is that it is up for the people of Beklium to freely decide their own fate, and we shall do whatever we can to facilitate that.
We shall soon be a part of a meeting between all members of the UNF, alongside the Security Council to further discuss this matter, as it is of great importance that such issues be resolved with speed and urgency.
When the Foreign Ministry was asked about the possibility for an intervention of the Flírsk military into the conflict, the Ministry refused to comment.
The Ministry last week also released a statement regarding recent anti-government protests in Achróa. The recent dealings between the heads of states of Lanovina and Achróa are certainly developments that we shall be following closely. However, it does appear that the recent agreements does not bode will with the Achróais population. Our position as of now is one of neutrality, however, should things further, we are willing to change our position after discussions with our allies in the government of Achróa, should things further escalate.
Furthermore, Flírskmasto reasserts its position in relation to its territory on the North Pole, and urges all parties involved in the region to maintain stability in the sparsely populated location.
Sjóborg attack response The Flírsk citizen injured in an attack in Sjóborg, Dýria has unfortunately passed away as a result of his injuries today, shortly after his return to the nation's capital last Thursday. Cetenivk has expressed his personal condolences to the family of Ruslav Arbayev, 23, who was a student of economics in Sjóborg.
Cetenivk has also offered assistance to the Dýrian government in relation to the SLM.
Dýria has been placed on a mild travel alert for six months.
Pension Reform Ministry of Finance has today published a proposal that would increase Flírskmasto's pension age by two years, from 60 to 62. The bill, which has been put forward into the lower house today, if accepted, would see an additional percent of the workforce have to wait two more years to receive their pension. This is despite the fact that approximately 15% of the population does not make it past the age of 65, meaning that they would have two less years with a pension. The reform has been touted for a long time, but due to its controversy, not yet been officially proposed. Should the bill pass all stages, the measures will take effect from the 2020 budget. The measures have been proposed to relieve pressure on the government's financial reserves.
Flírskmasto-Niolskiaj annual FlowerFest
A Flirsk woman putting a flower garland on the head of a Niol girl From September 17-24, the two nations' people came together in the celebration of the twenty-seventh annual FlowerFest, a festival meant to increase cultural and religious ties between the two nations. Air and rail links between the countries are expanded as more than 1.300.000 Niol arrived in Flírskmasto, as well as 1.700.000 Flírskmastoans in Niolskiaj, due to the permanent visa-free agreement between the two. The festival shows off many traditional flowers and customs native to the lands. On Monday and Tuesday, people travel around the country to plant flowers, plants and trees. Wednesday sees the traditional folk dancing competition take over. Thursday is the day for traditional basket-weaving. Friday and Saturday are the main days of alcoholism, even though this is a big feature every day. Sunday, the last day of the festival, sees many firework shows throughout both countries simultaneously, before most people travel back home on Monday. Ekaterina Shulova (31), one of the organisers of the festival is extremely glad that yet another successful FlowerFest has run smoothly.
DADI has published its monthly polling figures on the view of Flírsk citizens on matters regarding domestic policy, foreign policy and social issues.
The most notable foreign relations results were: 55% ⬇3 31% ⬆1 88% ⬇2 48% ⬇12 58% ⬇1 40% NEW40 53% NEW53 94% ⬆29 66% ⬆3
Support for the continuation of conscription is up 3 points to 90% F.A.P. support has increased by 7 points to 59% Relaxation of immigration policy is down 13 points to 4% Confidence in the Cetenivk cabinet is down 4 points to 59% Support for the proposed pension reform is at 22% Support for the North Pole region to become a Federal Subject is at 67% Same-sex marriage has gone down 1 point to 24%.

CHAOS AT TRADITIONAL TEMPLE IN SANJI PROVINCE AFTER SHOTS FIRED
Ge Isegsoo-ji, the temple in which the incident occurred, is one of the oldest Reverist temples in Hwaesonna, located in the mountains above Korisee, Sanji Province.
At approximately 10:13 this morning, two shots were heard throughout the Reverist temple Ge Isegsoo-Ji, an ancient temple dating back to the formation of the country around 500 years ago. The temple is located above Korisee, a city in the nearby valleys that has boomed in the past century due to expansion in Hwaesonna's obsidian industry. Shots rang out as the opening ceremony for a service by the temple's staff and visitors was due to begin in mere minutes. The temple immediately went in to lock down while a call as made for law enforcement from the city below.
For the next hour visitors, worshipers, and staff inside the temple would remain hidden, waiting in terror of what could be just around the corner. Three more shots would rip through the area before law enforcement arrived at approximately 11:31, over an hour after the initial call had been made. However, upon arrival, it only took about 10 minutes for the building and surrounding area to be cleared of any threat.
Law enforcement has reported no human casualties or injuries. The only deaths throughout the whole ordeal, in fact, were two bucks about a fourth of a kilometer away from the temple, hidden in the woods. Law enforcement claims that the two bucks were shot and killed by illegal poachers carrying firearms illegal for recreational use in Hwaesonna. Between the two bodies found, 5 entrance wounds were found, matching the number of shots reported by many witnesses.
The sentence for illegal poaching is 5 years in prison and 10,000 Hwaesonnan Swayrs, while the sentence for illegal occupation of a firearm is up to a fine of 30,000 Swayrs and 15 years in prison. No suspect has been identified or arrested as of this time.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the temple during the tense 1 hour and 18 minutes are just happy to be alive. With tension between Reverists and Atheists at an all time high in the country, many worshipers inside the temple feared for their lives.
The event comes just a month after national protests following an update to the government's budget which favored Universities and Schools that officially adopt Revercism as the official language over schools that have adopted secular, atheist, or other religious stances.

VERDICT IS IN
After what was noted to be the most horrific crime in our nation to date, the judges listened to many accounts of ordeals and terrifying moments that citizens had to endure while under seize of the One Nation Party. One young girl, aged 13, bravely stood up and said -
"They killed my mother, father, three brothers, my grandpa and my grandma. They did it in front of my eyes and they said it was because I was disrespectful to them, because I wouldn't do what they asked me. They told me to marry a man who was three times my age. I said NO. They told me to change the clothing on my body. I said NO. They told me to change the words of what language I speak. I said NO. They are evil people and they are NOT part of our society. All Shinkuánese people RESPECT each other and we correctly understand the meaning of what it is to be ONE. NATION. TOGETHER."
The judge applauded the young girl for her words and said that it was time to make the decision. The jury all left the room and came back within seven minutes. Here is what happened -
Judge: "We have heard many stories, heard brave people speak and had to endure the words of evil. I now wish to ask the leading member of our jury. Have you made a decision that you agree upon?"
Jury: "Yes, we have." Judge: "Do you find those arrested guilty or not guilty of murder?" Jury: "Guilty" Judge: "I repeat the same upon cases of terrorism" Jury: "Guilty" Judge: "And in the case of the leader members of the ONP. Do you find them guilty or not guilty of murder?" Jury: "Guilty" Judge: "Guilty or not guilty of perveting the course of justice?" Jury: "Guilty" Judge: "Guilty or not guilty of terrorism?" Jury: "Guilty" Judge: "The case of all of these people is simple and the correct answer was given. Therefore, I sentence all of those who acted as part of this group of evil to life imprisonment with no allowance of challenging this sentence. Case closed."

SLM leader to be extradited back to Dýria following arrest in Flírskmasto
Today, Dýrian authorities gathered in Dyflinnjaborg International Airport to arrest the leader of the Sjólandic Liberation Movement after attacker, Beinir Finsson, confessed that the leader of the organisation was the main figure in planning the 2018 Sjóborg attack. As it turns out, the leader of the organisation, Diðrikur Eindrisson, was hiding in Flírskmasto, after Beinir confessed that he knew Mr. Eindrisson's whereabouts, specifically in the Flírsk capital, Yuriakut.
Diðrikur was notorious for his anti-Dýrian propaganda, although after his group was banned from operating in Dýria, he decided to continue in secret in Flírskmasto, often using fake names while living there. What was supposed to be a "holiday", turned into a game of hide and seek with Dýrian authorities. Many members of the Dýrian diaspora in the Flírsk capital had asked Flírsk authorities to monitor him, as his activities were often suspicious and out of the ordinary. Little did they know he was the leader of a banned organisation actively seeking independence for Sjóland using violence.
However this week, there was nowhere to run. Dýria had asked Flírskmasto to arrest and extradite the suspect back to Dýria on Friday, where he would be charged for terrorism offenses. After a raid on his apartment after an anonymous tip, Diðrikur was handed into custody on Saturday morning. There, Flírsk authorities found plenty of anti-Dýrian propaganda, and most importantly, evidence of how he planned the attack. He was flown into Dyflinnjaborg airport at around 22:00 DST. Most members of the organisation have been taken in for questioning.
Hulda Jónsdóttir, lead investigator of the case, responded that: It is an absolute shame and quite embarrassing that a man wanted in Dýria for leading a banned organisation was able to sneak out of Dýria and continue his operations, when there was clear evidence that this person was dangerous and a threat to Dýria. However, after cooperating with Flírsk authorities, we have now stopped any further plans by this person to harm innocent people in our country and indeed other countries, especially in the Northern Union.
The Dýrian president Ingibjörg Egilsdóttir also praised the operation, stating that it was a critical move in preventing any future attack in the country, and has praised both Dýrian and Flírsk authorities for their actions.

Panic in Central Park: Noise at Globo Citizen Festival Was Fallen Barrier, Not Gunshots
A barrier that fell at the Globo Citizen Festival in Central Park on Saturday night was mistaken by some attendees for gunfire, setting off a small panic, officials said.
Liverpool, Harris - Panic and confusion erupted in Central Park on Saturday night after a loud noise frightened concertgoers at the Globo Citizen Festival, with some people erroneously attributing the sound to gunshots.
Witnesses described a near-stampede in some places, as people sprinted for cover, jumped fences and trampled one another. Some were in tears and called their loved ones, and others said they had lost items or gotten separated from their friends, according to social media reports.
But the police quickly refuted reports of a shooting, saying that the noise was from a fallen barrier, not gunshots.
A spokesman for the Fire Department said no injuries had been reported.
For many, the brief panic, which happened around 7:30 p.m., was an indication of the country’s mind-set at a time when mass shootings can happen anywhere — at schools, churches, nightclubs and concerts. Though there were no shots fired, the possibility of a shooting felt raw and real.
A concertgoer interviewed on MSNEBC said: “All we saw was a mass of people running. Like a wave of people coming in this direction. My daughter’s screaming at me to run.”
“Nearly got trampled,” an executive producer at NEBC tweeted. “Having to hold your wife in the middle of a field of running people who thought they were being shot at is not my favorite thing. Headed home.”
Globo Citizen is a movement of citizens who want to use their voices to end extreme poverty by 2030. Noga Erez, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Sofi Tukker and Plaitum were among those who were expected to perform on the park’s Great Lawn.
The concert appeared to stop briefly amid the chaos. Alexis Krauss, the lead singer of Sleigh Bells, tried to calm the crowd before handing the microphone to Kathleen O’Reilly, an assistant chief with the Police Department.
“Everybody relax, calm down,” Chief O’Reilly said. “It was a barrier collapse. There was no shots fired. Hopefully the show is going to go on. We just have to reassess the situation and try and create a new safety lane. We’re going to have to try our best.”
The organization tweeted on Saturday night that “everyone is safe.”
The show was back on, and Noga Erez took the stage.
