Frequently Asked Questions
How does Fantasia work with all the new countries?
Fantasia now has a new map, so more countries (up to approx. 155) can take part in events besides the Fantasia (Song) Contest including roleplay activities. The maximum number of participants for FC will remain 55. However, as soon as a country withdraws permanently from the contest, a new country, which had the opportunity to build itself up before, will take its spot.
Why are there so many free spots and what will happen to them? / How can I get my own country?
The council has decided that it’s better to have more free spots than actual players, so we don’t have to replace withdrawn countries. Instead they can just remain on the map until there’s no more free space for new players left. New players can apply here and as soon as their application is accepted we will add them on the map.
Note: If you are interested in taking part we recommend you read this before applying.
Who will determine which country is getting a spot in the (song) contest?
Players, who have a country in Fantasia can apply for a free spot in the song contest as soon as we open the applications for that. The G18 will rank their applications. The highest ranked player(s) will join the contest.
What exactly is the “G18”?
The G18 is a group consisting of eight permanent members and ten temporary members, which are chosen by the permanent members (the Reference Group). They are chosen based on their activity in Fantasia.
Where can I find the topography map?
The council will soon create the topography map for Fantasia, please keep in mind that it’ll take us some time to make it as accurate as possible. Colorable maps and a time zone map will be posted soon.
Can I edit my country page on the wiki?
Yes, it would really help us to get to know your country, its politics, its culture and its history.
Note: Please don’t add your area size or population yet because those will be decided by the council.
