Good morning Europe, and welcome to another edition of...
The title for this selection remains the same, although now we have added Ferðinn til Hollands, which means the journey to the Netherlands.
The selection will be hosted by 2 of our favourite divas...
Ása is an
Icelandic singer who took part in the selection for the 23rd edition with her song Skál!. Ragnhildur is a TV host and has hosted Söngvakeppnin since it's return in the 23rd edition.FORMAT
12 songs have been chosen to compete this time. 6 were chosen by me, and 6 were chosen by agni .
RÚV can confirm that 7 entries are in English, while 5 are in Icelandic.Unlike the last edition, all songs will have to compete in battles this time as there is no foreign act. This means instead of 5 battles, there will be 6. The number of participants in the final will thus stay at 6.
VOTING
Voting will remain the same as last edition, however with a slight twist. You will have to fill in a form instead of voting by poll this time. I'll inform you more on the form once the first battle comes.
Only HoDs, Co-HoDs and Associate broadcasters can vote in the battles. Non participant votes won't be counted!
Those who have just joined NVSC after the recent draws are of course allowed to vote as well.
