END OF JOURNEY FOR KATSYRIAIt’s been a while since the Katsyrian Radio Television has commented anything related to the contest.
Finally after a long wait, a statement was given.
KRT stated that they are currently facing several debts and they cannot afford anymore their participation in the contest,
thus making official country’s withdrawal from the contest as well.
The decision came out rather expected as the country already withdrew from FC #12.
stated the HoD of Katsyrian delegationWith everything said, this is official, Katsyria will no longer participate in the contest, at least not in the near future.
Katsyria has debuted in the 3rd edition of the contest with Alan Walker and Iselin Solheim with the song "Faded".
The debut also marked country's best result ever, receiving the 7th place.
Followed by 3 non-qualifications, all of them getting the 9th place in the semi-final,
the country returned to the final with Harper and her song "Skin", who managed to receive the 20th place.
The next 4 editions were not so successful again, as the country never managed to qualify.
The country decided to withdraw from the 12th edition, and returned for their jubilee edition where it failed to qualify again.I already planned to leave the contest, which explains the break from the 12th edition, however i decided to give it one more try.
After thinking, i came to conclusion that this contest is not for me.
I don't enjoy it as much as before, and it's not only about my failures but also because i barely like any song to vote for.
It's been a hard decision but I just consider that I don't fit here.
I don't feel so enthusiastic about the roleplay as much as before and about the fact that we have to make at least one post monthly to keep our place in the contest,
so I'll rather stay away and give my place to someone who deserves it more.
Neverless you all did a great job with the contest in general and it's probably the best contest with made-up countries.
Thanks for everything. If my country will ever be intact after some time, and if i make up my mind, I hope i'll be able to return. |

 RTL has confirmed the ongoing presence of Lidonia at the Fantasia Contest. Despite the recent failure of Kids'n'Cats the broadcaster has no intent of giving up on the song contest. And there would be no reasons to do so, with the FC being the most prestigious TV-event the struggling national broadcaster still has to offer. In fact, the recent viewing figures of the semi-final where the best the channel ever had for a semi-final.
The lidonian delegation decided on a new selection format. Lidonia will return to a multi-artist National Selection for the first time since FC #10. The delegation stressed at a press conference that the recent non-qualification did not play a role in changing the selection method, stating that it was decided to imply the new selection method already way ahead of the semi-final results. A return to the old selection method of doing a single-artist NS is possible, "if we find an artist worthy for doing so". In order to do the best selection possible, RTL has decided to mix different strategies, firstly asking the largest record labels of the country for suggestions, then actively asking well-known artists to submit a song and also looking for songs by allowing open submissions. In the end a judging panel that included but was not limited to the delegation rated the songs, leading to 6 songs being left for the new national selection. The selection will be titled bilingually Naše písen / Var Sang and start soon!

"Llort Will Participate," Declares LGY As of 13 November 2018, Llortish national broadcaster LGY confirmed participation for the 14th Fantasia Contest despite a result deemed disappointing to Llortish audiences in the 13th edition. The broadcaster's spokesperson stated earlier today that this failure only adds more fuel to the fire in their determination to excel on a global scale. "The organizers should expect an appearance by the Llortish delegation in the 14th edition regardless of where it will be held," a spokesperson for LGY declared.
LGY will once again select their entry internally. Rumors are circulating around discussion boards and forums that a singer-songwriter has already been selected as upcoming act. However, these pieces of information are merely hearsay. An official statement in the new future will reveal ore details of Llort's act and entry.

As per tradition, Achróa's broadcaster STA has decided to close the EDGÉ voting lines and announce the entry in the first instance.
EDGÉ's winner - like last edition - won both rounds with clear margins: 43% of the vote in the first round and then an astonishing 85% in the final round. The winning song also faced no competition whatsoever, consistently leading by a landslide in both voting rounds. So... what song managed to completely quash the other and become the fourteenth Achróan entry? Was it The Veils' gothic album closer Total Depravity, or was it Nicole Dollanganger's dreamy, grunge-twinged closer You're So Cool?

Nicole Bell (born September 8, 1991), known professionally as Nicole Dollanganger, is an Achróan singer, songwriter, and artist who currently resides in Pòr d'Amidét. She began posting original songs on Tumblr in mid-2011, and wrote and recorded her first four records in her bedroom while sick on bed rest from anorexia. Dollanganger is known for her high-pitched singing voice. The name 'Ghostly Kisses' was inspired
from reading William Faulkner's poem
'Une ballade des dames perdues' and
seemed like the perfect reflection
of her ethereal voice.
She released her second extended play titled
like her eventual entry only yesterday; it
includes an homage to Dolores O'Riordan as
well as a referring to a certain former
entrant in Fantasia Contest by name and

RÜFÜS DU SOL!
RÜFÜS DU SOL is an alternative dance group that consists of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt. Their debut album "Atlas" peaked at number 1 in Demacia, while their second album "Bloom" debuted atop the Demacian albums chart in early 2016. Their third and most recent album, "Solace" peaked at number 2.
They won Demacia Rising 3 with their song "Lost in My Mind", having collected 42.42% of the votes.
