DANSKANKSOVA HAS CHOSEN

Once again, DURT has decided to select the next participant internally. More artists were given a call and invitation to represent Danskanksova at the upcoming edition of the Fantasia, however the juries decided upon a

Decorian-based band, called Black Honey. They had several unsuccesful attempts to represent the country in the past, and now they have gotten the long-awaited chance to prove that they can win the final of the 14th edition.

The winner of the eighth edition of FlírskSong has been revealed. 3.1 million votes were cast during the fifteen minutes the voting was open, the exact same amount of votes votes from the previous edition

IT'S AYIA FOR FLÍRSKMASTO

aYia (Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir, Kári Einarsson, and Kristinn Roach Gunnarsson) with their dark electronica trip hop song "Slow" will represent Flírskmasto in the fourteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest! aYia hail from Fimithakaya, Dinskayov Oblast. They were leading in the first round, having 13.49% of the vote - and 38.87% in the Gold Final.

"Slow", the fourth track from aYia's debut album, aYia (which was mastered by

Björk collaborator Valgeir Sigurðsson) was one of Flírskmasto's most awaited musical releases of the winter. The video, directed by Alexandre Souêtre, according to aYia shows "a gathering of different aspects, mostly connected to the extremes of existing. It rattles the idea of fragility, changing the interior of the surroundings…it is a concrete formalization of a poetic gesture, genetically enhanced to become something unfamiliar".

The video, which is a visual masterpiece was shot between aYia's home region of Fimithakaya, Yuriakut, alongside several shots in

Lanovina, where Einarsson is from, and where the band previously participated in their FC 9 selection, failing to win. It shows much of the nature in the north of Flírskmasto, with the chilling, desolate environment leaving an impact, in stark contrast of the sheer beauty of the land.

Critics of the song have stated that the song is ”exemplary of the band’s synthetic dread: Its high-pitched, gently flowing vocals resemble a ghost drifting across the countryside, and the computerized abyss of synths, percussion, and vocal samples that outlines the song sounds like a terrifying sister to an ’80s sci-fi score. Dash pop music with hints of complete and total fear, mess up the percussive pattern just a bit, and you get something that almost manages to capture a perfect nightmarish mysticism.".

CHLØË BLACK WINS, EBC RETURNS AS BROADCASTER

Glendive, United States of Eldance - The Eldance statewide selection for Fantasia Contest 14, came to an end. As part of the last countries being revealed this Sunday on the 4 major Eldancan channels CBS, EBC, NEBC, and The CW. After a short tour, the State Juries and the Eldancan viewers decided that the honor of representing

Eldance in

Niolskiaj goes to

Chløë Black with her song "Spaceman", which also means EBC will take back leadership/broadcast of Eldance for the first time since the 9th ediiton.

Tonight it was finally time to choose the

Eldancan contestant for the 14th of the Fantasia Contest, also marking the 12th edition of

Eldancan selection in Fantasia, as the final of Sunshine & Stars took place in Sumter's Sumter Citiarena.

After the 53 Eldancan state juries and the

Eldancan/Fantasian audience casted their votes it was a close race until the end knowing that the state of Norum's own Chløë Black will represent

Eldance in

Niolskiaj with the song "Spaceman". The state of Norum wins the competition for the fourth time after being 6th in the semis two edition, placing 1st in the State jury with 466 points, and 1st in televoting with 532 points earning a total of 998 points beating the runner up Eldance C.D. with a 40 point margin!

Chløë is a new face to the Fantasia community with this being her first attempt in the contest, even though originally being from

Hwaesonna, she decided to try her career in Eldance and won her right to represent Eldance this edition!

Rede Globo has made a last minute announcement regarding the situation.

"BAGDAD (Liturgia)", the song ROSALÍA was meant to sing in Niolskiaj

Rede Globo recently posted this announcement on their Facebook page.

"ROSALÍA is going through some personal problems and unfortunately, she is not able to make it to Drukana. Taking into account the issues she is going through, Rede Globo was allowed to send a backup entry to the FBA. Further information will be announced when the situation is calmed down. Right now we have to prepare everything with the new singer who will represent Aquia in the Grand Final of the Fantasia Contest #14."

Therefore, the song which will replace BAGDAD (Liturgia) is...

There is no significant fact about her other than she's an Inês Brasil fan and has made a cover of "Make Love" in her Youtube channel.

Actually, this change has been made because ROSALÍA kept blocking the recaps and there was no way "BAGDAD" could be played in the videos.
