 MARONESIAN ENTRY!After the disappointing result of Raiven in the last edition, the Maronesian broadcaster  maryle took over the contest and launched a call to submissions to find their entry for the Fantasia Contest #14. Out of the 182 submitted entries, today it was announced that the special jury selected JFDR and her song "White Sun" to represent Maronesia in  Niolskiaj.Timeslot: 0:38+

GLARAY WITHDRAWS Following a press statement released earlier today, GTV confirms that Glaray will be withdrawing from this edition’s Fantasia Contest. Heads of Delegation Melina Shkurta and Aaron Castagnoli cited multiple reasons, including the current Christmas-New Year broadcasting schedule, underwhelming viewing figures, poor record sales of fellow competing countries within the nation (which indicates a lack of engagement) and the changing climate of the contest, which has led to decreased artist interest. Last edition’s final failed to draw half a million viewers, despite Mollie King’s participation five editions ago drawing in audiences of over eight million.
Despite withdrawal, Wendy Williams will continue her commentating duties for the contest, with its broadcast this edition being shifted to GTV4.
