UpdateThe recap could be out today, but one country is left to send an entry. Unfortunately tomorrow, I'm on a trip to Italy, so I'm not available until the evening (I'm not sure when I'll be back). As this edition couldn't start due to some unfortunate series of events, it's starting at an unusual time as well Let's make it even more special for that reason  Maybe some other countries vote first this time ^^ Welcome to  Maribor for the 60th edition of this contest!Deadline is in one week, 28th October (as I'm going on another trip, oops). ✦ Images✦ PlaylistMeaning behind the design: Maribor is known for its oldest grapevine, it is over 450 years old. In the region of Lower Styria, there are a lot of winegrowing hills, which produce many different kinds of wine. As this edition is in October it's perfect to celebrate grapes growing, picking them and eventually them being turned into wine. In Slovenia we celebrate this event on Saint Martin's Day. It might not be as big of a deal in my region (due to lack of winegrowing hills), but it surely is a big event. Bigger than Halloween for example, as it's authentic to our lands and some other countries across Europe. Enjoy your stay in Slovenia ^^  |
