^ I thought he was from Belarus. He's born in a city called Daugavpils. If you look for this city on google, you'll find out, which country it is I don't know which Vitas you mean, but this one has nothing to do with Belarus. I would've liked it if he were, since we never had anything Belarusian in the retro contest.
A meme in the contest kind of Latvia's version of Epic Sax Guy. Just in a disturbing way lol.

SPANISH ENTRY
It wasn't easy to select one song from the 5 Peter selected tbh. It was a great experience to participate in this edition and to make this "paired teams" we should do it more often . So here the next representant of .
She is well known in the contest already, for having participated twice in the past and giving Spain it's 3rd Victory & my second victory in the contest.
She won the 50th edition, and is crowned as the last winner of an special edition. It is not other than the Spanish Diva...

Fun fact: In the 50th Edition (special 2000 songs) Mónica Naranjo won and Vitas was the runner-up. Now, in the 60th Special Edition Peter & I were paired and we both are sending the same artists. And this wasn't made on purpose

Time to make something up again. Apparently my most successful genre here to be Pop-Rock - especially since 50 % of my top 10 results so far came from that genre. However all, but 1 of my Pop-Rock entries, have 1 thing in common: It's a male solo artist! And since I haven't sent any women in a while it's time for something different.
Lunik - Little bit Thanks to superjonno for choosing it (although I expected you to take a particular other one. ) And as for the timeslot it's a bit unfortunate that the chorus is under 20 seconds, but imo 0:54 - 1:18 (first chorus) sounds fine, since the sentence that just sneaks in, doesn't sound as awkward as it normally would do in such a case. That also marks the first time since after 5 editions (due to my withdrawals it's actually #50) that I'm sending a band (technically that's wrong since I just sent Myron, but I personally don't consider duos as a band). Those people who are familiar with my entries, may actually notice that this is kind of a returning entry since the vocalist is the same Jaël I sent back in #41 and who sung about a love that got lost (or something like that) ending up in a 2nd place. The group was quite known until they disbanded a few years ago. Yet Little bit is their only song that ever entered the top 30 (!). In early September 2006 it peaked at #7 in the charts (but is nowadays widely forgotten).
