I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with italix. I find option B very interesting but whether I prefer option A or option B depends on the country I'd get paired with, which is why I'm still waiting before I confirm.

There will be no rule change. Everyone will get a pair within a group they have picked (A or B). I don't really like option A so I would rather go for option B but I'm clearly not ready to waste days of my life in researches if I get a too exotic country (and I don't have free days anyway). I suppose I'm not the only one who thinks that. Option B is risky no matter what and it's up to you if you'd like to take it. I understand the time problem myself. As I do spend a lot of time searching for songs in general. And when it comes to new territory, it takes time. An exotic country might not be the only "problematic" one though. As I have mentioned, in WWW Special Edition I got Ethiopia, which I had no idea about. But in FoM I got Sweden, which couldn't be more opposite than Ethiopia. I had way too much to choose from and again it took me time to pick one. For the time reasons, I'm hesitant to choose option B as this edition will take me enough time as it is. So getting an easy country on paper might be more time consuming than you might think. Also, people giving Costa Rica as an example of a hard country, I found a decent song in 5 minutes, by a new artist. You can always refer to the wikia page as the country participated for a long time anyway.
I got some remarks last time about this being »too easy«. Jasna, please, don't be mad at me! Let's forget about this and move on Latvia confirms. With Option B. And not because Option A is "too easy" These remarks were from when the themes were being suggested in the last decade. And they might not come from (only) you.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with italix . I find option B very interesting but whether I prefer option A or option B depends on the country I'd get paired with, which is why I'm still waiting before I confirm. As mentioned, option B is a risky one, and instead of just going for option A people have been trying to make adjustments for the second option, which I don't find optimal or fair. Take your time with the decision.

I return! And I'm picking option A. I actually like the possibility of someone else deciding my entry, but I'm too scared of my possible pairing...
