I've just sent the songs to Jasna. It wasn't difficult (but not easy either) to find songs I like from Latvia, as I've already experienced their music industry when I was Latvia in a famous IG contest. I'll post other songs I found in the Retro Suggestions as soon as this edition ends, I could only select 5 Ps: When I got paired with Latvia I saw the opportunity to send an iconic Latvian song, I hope you send it soon if you don't pick that song this edition. You'll know the it when Jasna sends you the links jajaja

I am in the process of research and found a song that I want to suggest, which is composed by a Cypriot composer/singer, and performed by a Greek singer. It is, furthermore, included in the album of the Cypriot composer too, would that suffice for that song to be considered an eligible suggestion? Thanks for the answer in advance. By the way, before the research, I was only aware of the traditional music scene of Cyprus, and now I've discovered way too many artists I have never come across before. The only initial problem of mine was much focus in the Cypriot music scene on folk and pop music, but then I found many artists representing other genres, and eventually found myself reading an academic article on impact of socio-cultural situation of Cyprus on a growth of a particular genre, which is almost non-existent (to my great surprise) I will perhaps send my suggestions tomorrow, or the day after that the latest. Today I'll complete to compile a list of songs that I would like to suggest and afterwards, reduce them down to 5 songs

No, it would not be enough. The artist has to be Cypriot, otherwise I would also be able to send tons of songs by Greek singers.

Ooh. I'm paired with Turkey. I am not that familiar with Turkish music that's over 10 years old (except Sertab Erener ). Considering I gave Turkey points in the past edition, their user may have a good idea on my taste. Let's see what this person will feel about the Filipino entries I will submit. Can't wait to interact!

Update12 exchanges have taken part (you can see the progress in the first post), which means 6 pairs have successfully done it. 3 from each group as of now. I "only" know of 6 chosen songs. Feel free to share them here in the thread
Some people have already submitted the songs but are waiting for their pair. Don't keep them waiting for too long

Coldünya & Alim Qasımov - Oyanış Coldünya & Alim Qasımov duo represented Azerbaijan in the 41st edition for the first time, achieving a respectable 13th place. They are now back once again to serve Retro WWWSC community a folk metal song, entitled "Oyanış" (translation: "Awakening" ), which explores the philosophical concept of "free will" For the timeslot, please take 3:16+ For the photo, you can use the one from 41st edition if you still have the picture, if otherwise, please let me know, so I can find something
