Coldünya & Alim Qasımov - Oyanış Coldünya & Alim Qasımov duo represented Azerbaijan in the 41st edition for the first time, achieving a respectable 13th place. They are now back once again to serve Retro WWWSC community a folk metal song, entitled "Oyanış" (translation: "Awakening" ), which explores the philosophical concept of "free will" For the timeslot, please take 3:16+ For the photo, you can use the one from 41st edition if you still have the picture, if otherwise, please let me know, so I can find something To be honest, I expected you would go for either this one or Yuxu so no surprise... I was between those two songs, to be honest Amongst the remaining three, "Sevgilər" by Tünzalə is a song I like as well (especially because of its lyrics, which are written by one of the most prominent Azerbaijani poets) Regarding my suggestions for Cyprus, I liked Piri Reis by Arryan Path the most, but was so hopeless about its representation of the country. On the other hand, I had no idea which song you would choose, but I like the song you picked I am though not sure how satisfied you were with my suggestions

On the other hand, I had no idea which song you would choose, but I like the song you picked I am though not sure how satisfied you were with my suggestions I don't think that it is of any importance now anymore but since you're asking for it, I'd definitely not go for any of your suggestions apart from the one I chose because none of them appeals to me. The first 2 are clearly not the kind of music I would go for even if they were different in some sense, the 3rd one was an instant 'no' from my side as I don't consider that artist to be Cypriot enough personally and the 5th one might be one of the best songs by that artist but I really don't like him as an artist and that is because of his songs being all a bit 'crappy' in my opinion, especially as the lyrics are usually cheap and very hideous.

Yeah, just wanted to know your opinions, nothing that important. My plan was to send one song from each of these genres: rock, rap, indie, folk and pop. I normally do not listen to pop music, except some sub-genres, and did not like Etzi either. (and share the same viewpoint about the artist) But since you've sent that artist once to the contest, thought I might try my chances. Anyway, I am happy that at least you find one of the songs worthy enough to send for the upcoming edition. Best of luck!

Austria Jazz Gitti - "Tramway foarn"1:38+
That means Jazz Gitti returns to the contest after her participation in Edition #47, where she reached the 15th place.
My Finnish 'partner' already made his choice yesterday, and I'm glad he's so positive about it and seems to enjoy the song(s) No matter who I'd have been with, I was very curious to see how the other person would react to the songs and which one they'd pick. If others are interested, here you can find the rest of the candidates, perhaps you'll see them in the contest sooner or later: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFYE3U5BwIKO6IZci83rmI_d-ccHD6Zct
I also wish you good luck тнєяσиттi95 All 5 songs were decent, I picked that one in the end as I find it quite awesome and as it's perhaps not the most typical contest entry (not just for Finland, also generally rap songs aren't sent too often), so I took the chance and forced you to send it

So far I'm not that much into the posted songs, but if I had to make a ranking out of them, Cyprus would be my as of right now. I also like Azerbaijan, although I find it a little weird whereas Austria and Armenia don't really go anywhere imho and Finland is just not for me. My entry isn't decided yet (and I also haven't received anything in return), but I'm already eagerly waiting for both. I think I picked some interesting songs.

Here is the host entry picked by CHAE WITH A C , but originally suggested by Gilberto Žana - Druga violina (The Other Violin) English translation of the lyrics I'm looking at you You're saying goodbye And you're leaving You're leaving a thousand words behind you You never look back Everything is lost between us So much still unsaid Your words are cold like ice They're spiking me directly in the heart which was beating just for you I need you, but I don't admit it, You're leaving, pushing me away. Chorus: Know, I'd rather die than share you That I'd be the other violin for you I know you'll give her everything, she'll love you And have everything I've lost Who will wipe my tears Who will hug me in the dark Who will heal my wounds When you will leave Surprisingly the lyrics have some common grounds with my current entry in WWWSC
