Welcome Fantasia to the 3rd installment of  Dýrska Söngkeppnin - the national selection used to select Dýria's act in the contest!
The national selection was held twice before - in #9 a multilingual edition was held, and in #10 a Dýrian only selection was held. The selection has brought mixed results - a 4th place in the 9th edition, and last place in the 10th edition.
However, DRTV has decided to bring back the initial format for the 14th edition. This will be the first Dýrian selection in 4 editions. The only significant change that will happen is that there will be no Everish language battle, since in the time between the 9th edition and the 14th edition, Everish was removed as an official language of Dýria. It will be instead replaced by Brittonic (Brezhoneg), which is an official language of the country.
FORMAT
12 songs have been selected to compete in the selection. The languages will be as follows:
Dýrian (2 songs)
Irsan (2 songs)
Sjólandic (2 songs)
Brittonic (2 songs)
The above languages will have 2 songs each battling to win one space in the final. In addition, minority language battles have been brought back, and 4 different languages will compete here:
 Everish
 Lakadamian
 Fordian
 Decorian
There will be 6 battles in the national selection, where 12 songs will become 6. The battle stage will be done via polls.

SONG 1
Juniore - Les héros de Barbès
Juniore is a Dýrian-Lakadamian band formed in Pavlodia, leaded by Anna Jean. The group later moved to Dyflinnjaborg and continued to produce music in the Lakadamian language, which is spoken by a minority in Dýria. They will be singing a cover of Yves Simon's original song Les héros de Barbès, which was released in 1975.
SONG 2
Nolwenn Leroy - Ahès
Nolwenn Leroy was born on Enez Bras, the largest island in the Suenezioù, primarily growing up around the Brittonic language. She later moved to Juliana for most of her life, where she grew up and learned the Lakadamian language, and later moved back to Dýria to continue her career, releasing her chart topping albums Bretonne and Gemme. Her song Ahès will be one of two Brittonic language songs in the selection, coming from her album "O filles de l'eau", marking the first time the language has been seen in any national selection. "Ahès" is a princess from Brittonic mythology.
SONG 3
Navneløs - Elektrisk Hånd
Although originally from Decoria, Navneløs was formed in Dyflinnjaborg by Andreas Ledet, Frederik Fogde, Johan Kruse, Lin Rosenbeck and Mads Flethøj. They have performed their Decorian language songs many times for the Decorian community in Dýria. They applied to DRTV to take part in the contest and they were accepted this time, singing their Decorian language song "Elektrisk Hånd".

Okay, since there's no real point now in doing separate announcements I'll just announce the rest of the songs 
Dýrian battle
2 Dýrian language songs are competing this time around. Let's see who were the lucky contestants!
SONG 1 - Samaris - Góða tungl
will take part against:

Irsan battle
After getting 5th place with IMLÉ in Fantasia Contest 12, Irsan is the most successful language from Dýria, excluding Everish. Can either of these two acts make it to Fantasia and match that result? Here are the 2 Irsan acts!
Aeons - Ar Snámh
Aeons will compete against:
Seo Linn - Bain an Glas
Sjólandic battle
After KATA participating in the 13th edition of Fantasia bringing the Sjólandic language to the contest for the first time, once again Dýrska Söngkeppnin will include songs in Sjólandic.
Elinborg - Brimið
Elinborg will compete against:
Steso ft. FRUM & Konni Kass - Nærri at tær
Brittonic Battle (Song 2)
Surprise! Our next participant in the Brittonic battle also has the name Nolwenn. Nolwenn Korbell will participate in the selection alongside her band with the song Da Belec'h.
Minority Language songs
2 songs have already been revealed out of the minority language songs - Decorian and Lakadamian; however we still have two other minority languages to reveal:
Menke - Moln (Fordian)
And saving this one for last - Everish will indeed compete in the national selection after initial doubts in the early planning stage for the national selection. Oranginian born, Dýrian based singer Billie will take part in the selection with her song Love Kills Slowly. After her participation in the 4th edition, she moved to Dýria to continue her career and now operates between both Dýria and Orangina.
That's all songs revealed! The first battle of the selection will *hopefully* start this evening, although it may be tomorrow.
