The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union proudly presents the official theme art, hosts, and slogan for the 12th East Vision Song Contest, held in Melbourne, Australia, the runner-up in the 11th edition.

After

Palau's victory in the 11th edition, it became apparent there was no feasible way to host the contest in the island nation. Thus, working with

SBS and

TVP, an arrangement was made to jointly host the contest in Melbourne.

VENUE

Melbourne Arena, originally known as the Melbourne Park Multi-Purpose Venue, is an

Australian sports venue that is part of the National Tennis Centre at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, with over 10.000 capacity.
The contest will be live from the arena for the semi finals and the grand final.

SLOGAN

"Wish Upon a Star," represented a glowing light orb. The slogan is inspired by the previous winner, "Taiyo No Aitoka" by

Flower.

HOST

Eir Aoi is a successful

Japanese singing from Hokkaido who go her big hit through singing the theme songs of many popular anime, including Sword Art Online and Kill la Kill. She is one of Japan's most recognizable and successful female celebrities.
