Frigg / Levalle / 10 March 2019 It is finally the time for the Land of mountains to reveal its Fantasia Contest #15 entry! Levallese national broadcaster, Levalle Brødkorpori (LB) decided to make their choice internally once again. After holding auditions for the contest, and whilst plenty of rumours were going around on who their entrant may be, LB kept all information in silence. In the meanwhile, the selected act recorded the song and also filmed a video clip.
Jutrø featuring Linda will take to the Fantasia stage in Estambla to represent Levalle with the song "Travva". They will attempt to qualify from one of the semi-finals and bring their homeland to the final for the first time. "Travva" won the national song selection, organized internally by Levallese broadcaster Levalle Brødkorpori. leaving more than 80 other entries behind.JUTRØ FT. LINDA 
Jutrø is the stage name of Filip Fabiański, a music producer from Tergå, Levalle, who uses to create magnificent, eerie and dark aural landscapes that blend witch-house elements to a steady hip-hop-esque electronic rhythm. He will be joined on stage by vocalist Paulina Talarska, better known as Linda.

Llort Gnitsacdaorb Ynapmoc (LGY) would like to congratulate Anoushka Shankar and Alev Lenz for their victory. They will fly the flag for Llort in Torlova performing their compassionate song "Land of Gold." We wish Anoushka Shankar, Alev Lenz, and the whole Llortish delegation the best of luck in the 15th Fantasia Contest!

"Everyone is, in some way or another, searching for their own 'Land of Gold': a journey to a place of security, connectedness and tranquillity, which they can call home. This journey also represents the interior quest that we all take to find a sense of inner peace, truth and acceptance – a universal desire that unites humanity.
The seeds of Land of Gold originated in the context of the humanitarian plight of refugees. ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Anoushka Shankar is a world-renowned sitarist. Since seven years old, she learned to play sitar, Llort's national musical instrument, from her father, the late Ravi Shankar, regarded as one of Llort's top musicians in history. As his daughter, Anoushka aspires to continue his legacy. She has released eight studio albums, has toured worldwide, and received recognition for her contribution to the Llortish music scene.
Alev Lenz, the featured vocalist, is no stranger to FC. She was the debuting act for Torlova in the 13th edition with the song "Fall Into Me." However, she failed to qualify, placing 10th in the semifinal. She had the opportunity to collaborate with a celebrated Llortish musician in Anoushka Shankar, and that opportunity led her to not only just participating in the Fantasia Contest again but also to perform in her home country.
This is the second instance that a Llortish act has collaborated with an artist from the current host country. The first was in Edition #13 when Jai Wolf and Mr. Gabriel teamed up with "Starlight" and flew the Llortish flag in Baesnia. They failed to qualify, placing 13th in the semifinal.

After a fantastic final in Burg Bognovi, it was decided that "4th of July" by Sufjan Stevens will represent the nation at the upcoming edition of the Fantasia Contest.
About the Song
-The Mother's Death-
This song is a conversation between Sufjan and his mother, Carrie, while she was dying in the hospital. Each stanza alternates between them.
Sufjan spoke of this time in an interview:
She had stomach cancer, and it was a quick demise. We flew to see her in the ICU before she died. She was in a lot of pain, and on a lot of drugs, but she was aware. It was so terrifying to encounter death and have to reconcile that, and express love, for someone so unfamiliar. Her death was so devastating to me because of the vacancy within me…
At that point, I was only interested in communicating my love for her, unconditionally. There was a reciprocal deep love and care for each other in that moment. It was very profound and healing.

 De Vremdspongeln has No Gold this edition!
 Last edition the country finally broke the curse and qualified to the Final, where the band Run River North ended up on a respectable 22nd place. The ensemble had a really warm greeting at the Koppan airport by the Vremd fans, and their popularity rose to new hights after the contest. But the troubled relationship between the government and the participation didn't end.
After the release of that picture with a red cross over gold coins, fans got really angry and disappointed on social medias and made numerous petitions against the government and the broadcaster. They just couldn't believe the participation stops right after we finally qualified to the Final. Luckily, that wasn't the case.
Instead, the picture referred to the song title, No Gold to be sung by Akine, an up-and-coming young singer originating from Pashlanahuy. After our successful qualification, the negotiations between the broadcaster and the government became more productive, and a decision was made: From now on, a special music academy called will internally select our future artists, allowing the chance for newcomers to enter the contest and they will get the necessary funds from the academy. The announcement was well received by the public, and everyone is really happy about the way things unfolded.
Laura Trocknens, the HoD stated that this decision was truly important for the country, and from now on we can concentrate more on the actual entry and performance, rather than the internal feuds. The delegation really liked Akine's offer, and after some auditions and song selection, our entry was finally decided.

 After long conversations with few artists, none of them agreed to participate for our country. The main reasons were that artists had already planned their tours but also low interest in contest as well as poor results.
Despite previously confirming participation in the upcoming edition, Lab Rador has to withdraw from the competition. We are aware of the consequences that wait for us.
