BASKETBALL WORLD CUP 2019
Akureyri/Seeburg - Today the Basketball Federation of Fantasia (BFF) has announced that there will be a Basketball World Cup in 2019. After the last World Cup in
Alkyria and 
US Eldance ended early the BFF waited until now to try and host another World Cup and a Qualification Stage for that.
Moly-Boronia was selected as the host country for the 2019 BFF Basketball World Cup. The Central Sakodan country will host the final tournament in 6 cities and 24 countries are able to participate in the tournament. As the hosts, Moly-Boronia is automatically qualified for the tournament but it will still compete in the Qualification Stage.Qualification Stage
For the Qualification Stage the world will be divided into 5 regions:
- Tritonia & Lakadasia (2 qualification spots)
- Sakoda (6 qualification spots + Moly-Boronia)
- Wulfor (7 qualification spots)
- Serica (5 qualification spots)
- Latinica (3 qualification spots)
Each region will host their own qualification tournament in one country. All countries can put forward a bit to hold the qualification tournament for their region. As Moly-Boronia will NOT host the Sakodan Qualification Tournament, Sakodan countries are still welcomed to put a bit forward.
