Hello everyone and welcome to the very first edition of our brand new sub-contest, Themed WWW Song Contest! 
As it has already been explained in the thread where a voting was held about whether this idea of a new sub-contest would be realized, the rules will be exactly the same as in the main contest but slightly more "flexible" (without this meaning that things shouldn't function normally of course). The main feature of this sub-contest is that it will have a different theme every edition and the editions will not be running too fast and not many times every year.
The theme for Themed WWWSC #1 is Junior Edition!
That is a theme that has been suggested by many of you for Special Editions of the main contest but we do, realize that it wouldn't be easily doable by some players so we decided to try it out here.
Some really basic clarifications are as follows:
In case you have any other questions, feel free to ask. For now, you may contact ferrygraf or me in case you have any queries.
Of course remember that confirming is not enough, you need to actually post an entry to secure your participation!
As for now, we will keep the deadline as well as the limit of participants open. Once those are decided, we will make sure to inform you.
Moreover, we are tagging the main contest players for now. In case they do not want to participate, Retro WWWSC players have priority and if those are not interested either, anyone else could take part, of course assuming they come from the country they want to represent.
Hence, if you are currently participating in WWW Song Contest, make sure to confirm if you are not interested in this sub-contest by posting it here, so that Retro WWWSC and/or other possible people from the country can participate instead.

- The artist must have been younger than 18 years old when the song got released. In case they are older than 18 today, there is no problem as long as the first condition stated here is fulfilled.
- If you send a cover, make sure the original song hasn't been in the main contest or in Retro WWWSC and that the artist was younger than 18 when the cover was recorded.
- Duets with any adults are not allowed. If you want to send a band of kids, make sure all of their members were below 18 when the song got released/recorded.
