Please announce your interest in this thread. Signups will be open until at least 24 hours after thread creation have passed and at least eight players have confirmed their participation. A maximum of 24 players will take part, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Rules:
shamelessly copied from myself
1. The players have been at random divided in two groups – “wolves” and “townies”. Every player has also received their own special role; several roles come with a unique power that can significantly influence the outcome of the game if used wisely. Please send role-specific decisions to the host by PM. More on the roles can be found in the next posts. Assignment of the roles has been done randomly; the host has no personal influence on who gets which role.
2. The game is divided in nights and days. In the night, the wolves try to agree on a target; the current leader of the wolfpack PMs the username of the attacked player to the host. Unless special roles are in effect, that player is found dead in the morning and has been eliminated from the game. The night ends after 24 hours.
3. In daytime, all players – wolves and townies alike – vote for a player that is lynched at the end of the day. Discussion and thorough analysis of players' actions are encouraged! Please put votes, which have to contain the username of the player (not using the forums’ tagging functionality) you’d like to see lynched, in red text, for example “Vote: Gleo”. Days always last 48 hours. You are also allowed to unvote. After the voting deadline has passed, the player with the highest number of valid votes is lynched and dies.
4. You may only receive two strikes at most for failing to vote! Which means you are allowed to miss a voting exactly once. Fail to cast your vote the second time, and the host will disqualify you at the end of the game. When you are dead (whether by lunch, lynch, punishment or by other means), you can only make one more farewell post in this thread, except for possibly some certain roles which have access to sensitive information. If you have one of these roles and die, you are not allowed to post in the thread anymore.
5. Before the first night, a special voting round is held (referred to as “Day 0”), in which one player is chosen to act as a mayor, or tiebreaker. If there is a tie for valid votes in a lynch later in the game, the tiebreaker’s vote decides the outcome – but if the tiebreaker has voted for none of the players currently tied for lynching, the tiebreaker will be informed of the tied players and decides who of them will be lynched. On “Day 0”, you have three points to distribute among the people you want to become tiebreakers, so “3 points: Gleo” or “2 points: Gleo | 1 point: Feimir” or “1 point: Gleo | 1 point: Feimir | 1 point: ferretblob” would all be examples of valid votes. The player with the highest number of points after 48 hours becomes the tiebreaker. If the tiebreaker dies, this ability passes on to the surviving player who had the most points on “Day 0”.
6. DO NOT TALK ABOUT THIS GAME IN PRIVATE OR OUTSIDE THIS THREAD IN GENERAL. DO NOT REVEAL YOUR ROLE. The only exception are the werewolves, who know each other’s identity and will be allowed to converse in a chat/PM thread monitored by the host, and possibly a few other special roles.
7. If all townies are dead, the wolves win, and vice versa.
8. Tricking, lying, and deceiving in this thread are allowed and even encouraged! Play dirty. Discuss, debate, and exploit others for personal gain.
