 Fantasia Contest #16ConfirmationsYou can confirm for the next edition now!All entries, regardless of whether they are selected internally or through a national selection, must be sent to the council for approval. You only need 4 yeses in order for your entry to be fully approved. Please do not include Daniel in your approval PMs anymore! You are only allowed to send a maximum of 2 approval messages. This is so the council can concentrate on things more important than dealing with a minor song change in a national selection, for example. If you send a third approval message (unless asked by the council to do so), we will not reply to it, and your new songs will not be considered. Deadlines:

Ninelie confirms in Fantasia Contest #16
After 2 very successful qualifications and top 15 results, we are instantly confirming our participation in the #16 in the Alkyria. When it comes to the system of determining our entry, we will again use the winner of Festival di Note Vaglia as our representative.
Last edition we decided that popular festival of Note Vaglia will be our method of selection but we weren't sure if to use it constantly or not but we decided that festival will in most cases be used for our selection for the contest The Festival is undergoing some changes in the system including more rounds, duels and more that will be announced at the later date.
There have been a lot of rumors of potential artist including Luna, Katy Perry, Marco Mengoni, Aimer... but nothing has been confirmed so far

DREVONA CONFIRMS ITS PARTICIPATION IN THE FANTASIA CONTEST 16!
After an amazing edition in Torlova, where Drevonan representative Viah failed to qualify to the Grand Final and achieved 13th place in the semi-final, Drevonan National Television (DNT) announced, that the country won't give up and will continue on participating in the Fantasia Contest.
Right after the Alkyrian win last edition, Drevonan head of delegation stated, that "the contest brings joy for the people. There are no signs why we should withdraw from the event."
Also, for the first time Drevona will hold a National Selection. Selection will consist of 6 entries and 10 jurors, which were already selected. More details about the selection will follow.

SINCUERELLO CONFIRMS FOR FC 16 IN ALKYRIA
After getting 21st in the final and 4th in semi final, we see absolutely no reason for us to withdraw.
~21st in the final isn't the best result but it is good enough for us. we will come back stronger in alkyria with a ns already planned. we cant reveal the participants now but it most likely will consist of 2 semi finals and one final. stay tuned for more info.~ Jakub Nawojczyk, Sincuerellese Head Of Delegation

Following Achróa breaking their own personal record in the contest with The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra, the national broadcaster STA says they are "happily obliged" to participate in the next edition of the Fantasia Contest in Alkyria.
Achróans - although gutted they were pipped at the last moment - took to the streets to celebrate their best result in the contest ever, after 14 editions of attempting to smash Experience's result back in the very first edition in Crystalfall, Evergreen. The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra came 2nd - just points away from victory - and brought Achróa their first podium result as well as their second autoqualification, also the first one since Experience's success.STA announced today that they would go internal, and that they have chosen a representative and song already. However, contrary to tradition, STA will not reveal the entrant until later: May 24 to be exact.
Rumours are already circulating as to who the entrant(s) may be. Leading national Achróan media suggest that legendary Achróan musicians or bands like the Cocteau Twins or Faye Wong could be the potential participants, saying that STA could be adopting a "100% culture, 0% win" stance. Other outlets suggest that Achróa could repeat sending a dual national à la the previous autoqualification (Achróan-Lakadamian Christine & the Queens). The Achróan fanbase seems to be conflicted - one half believes STA has selected a prominent idolised artist, while the other believes STA will throw a curveball and send someone who is otherwise totally unknown.

 LLORT CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION
Despite a third consecutive non-qualification in the FC #15 semifinals in Torlova, LGY confirmed Llortish participation into the 16th Fantasia Contest this morning. It is scheduled to be held in Alkyria after the country had won the previous edition.
A spokesperson from LGY mentioned that submissions for entries was never opened. It is implied that an act has already been selected internally. Llortish social media speculates that an experienced artist has signed a contract with the broadcaster to be the country's representative, but details are mostly inconclusive.
More information about Llort's participation will be revealed in the near future.

A STATEMENT REGARDING NIOLSKIAJ'S PARTICIPATION
Following Koda Kumi's non-qualification in the fifteenth edition held in Torlova, marking the first ever Niol non-qualification, the new head of delegation, Juliette Bravo, allegedly stated that she was "MEGA MEGA FUCKING FUMING" with the result, and as such, rumours began to spread that Niolskiaj may take a break from the contest for the first time since their debut in the eleventh edition.
However, it can now be confirmed that this is absolutely not the case, and Niolskiaj will be present for the sixteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest, set to be held in Alkyria. The news comes following Bravo's resignation from her position and subsequent replacement with Anna Ou, who in her opening statement this evening said: "Even in spite of our first ever non-qualification, the interest for the Fantasia Contest is so high that a withdrawal in the near future is simply not an option."
"Instead, we are looking forward to returning to the glorious days of Niol participation in the contest, thereby abandoning the R.O.S.E. concept we used last edition and returning to Niolfiestyval, for its fourth edition. But it won't be the same format we saw back in the thirteen edition - this time, we will be inviting each of the 25 regions of Niolskiaj to submit a song each. Five semi-finals, consisting of five songs each, will be held, and the top two songs as voted for solely by the Niol public and a group of Niol music professionals will qualify to the grand final, in which all of Fantasia is invited to vote. We are very excited to see the new format of Niolfiestyval come to life!"
Various artists from across the country have stated their interest in the selection. More news will follow.

 Hwaesonna confirms presence in Alkyria officially confirms Hwaesonna's participation in the 16th Fantasia Contest. Despite Wednesday Campanella's non-qualification in Estambla, FTSTV has announced that the result will not discourage the country from further participation in the contest. The method of selection is currently undecided, but a return of the national selection The Hwae Home for a second edition very possible. Numerous artists, ranging numerous genres and backgrounds, have already been contacted by the broadcaster to negotiate participation in either a national selection, or the contest itself. A decision regarding Hwaesonna's selection for the 16th contest will be made by the end of the week. |
