AQUIA CONFIRMS INTERNAL SELECTION!
After Conan Osíris' eighth place and victory in the semi-final, Rede Globo has confirmed that Aquia will be present in the sixteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest!
Rede Globo has also confirmed that the song and its music video have already been recorded and, as since the fourteenth edition, the entry is entirely in Aquian. It is the first collaboration to be ever sent as an Aquian entry.

/ ST  TR/ST is an electronic syntho-pop music project, from Frooa, Vikyirie.  Robert Alfons formed the band back in 2010, when he met a no stranger to Fantasia Contest  Maya Postepski, of Austra who previously participated in Fantasia Contest 7. After their first album release "Trust", Postepski decided to leave the band, for personal reasons. Usually the project of Alfons are accompanied by singers  Anne Gauthier and Esther Munits, only for live shows. Vikyirie will try to approach a different pattern this time, hoping that they can make every nation fall in love with the magical essence of the project! The song TR/ST is going to sing in Alkyria is.. ARE

Hatari to represent Dýria!
After confirming participation yesterday, DRTV has also announced the act that would be representing them in Alkyria. Although the release date was planned to be later in the week, the group that will represent Dýria announced to their fans this morning that they would be representing Dýria, and so DRTV confirmed that what the group posted on their social media was true.
Hatari (Dýrian for hater) are a Dýrian techno, industrial and punk rock band from Dyflinnjaborg. The band was formed in 2015, consisting of Matthías Tryggvi Haraldsson, Klemens Nikulásson Hannigan and Einar Hrafn Stefánsson. Since their formation in 2015, the band has released one extended play as well as four singles, which all charted in Dýria. The group released their first EP, Neysluvara (consumer) in 2017, with 2 singles from the EP, Ódýr and X charting at #4 and #18 respectively. The group went on to release Spillingardans (corruption dance) in December 2018, and Hatrið mun sigra (hate will prevail) in January 2019, both of which have been successful in Dýria (charting at #3 and #1 respectively). The group has become a cult personality in Dýria, due to their desire to destroy capitalism. Read more about them here!
Hatari and the HoD of Dýria were present on DRTV 1's lunchtime news where the news was confirmed, and the HoD explained the decision to send Hatari:
Dýria has a diverse music scene and Fantasia is a perfect platform to showcase our music. Hatari in particular will be our first entry of this genre
to participate, and given the popularity of the group in Dýria, we as a team couldn't resist giving them a chance to participate.
Matthías Haraldsson, the main singer of Hatari described how they felt as a group being the next Dýrian representative:
Over the years we have failed to destroy capitalism.. through our music and through our protests in Dýria we just couldn't defeat it.. capitalism defeated Hatari. But as a group we will give ourselves one more chance to make a change and us being the Dýrian representatives in this song contest will surely be a good platform for us. Not just that, we also want to promote our merch and music and spread awareness of what's going on in this world.
The chosen entry will be:
"Spillingardans" (ev. corruption dance)

This will be the 3rd entry from Dýria to be in the Dýrian language, and 5th overall in the contest. The Dýrian lyrics are in the spoiler below, and if you turn on the CC on the music video, you can see the Everish translation.
