I would live to see a song in ESC titled after a porn star tbh.  Cicciolina ftw, but I wouldn't mind Bananas or Eternity, which needs to be treated carefully in the performance to be a convincing quality act. |

Listening to all the UMK songs now:
01- Tika - I Let My Heart Break - Very Tayanna. Apparently she won X Factor Finland so live hopefully shouldn't be a worry.
02 - Erika Vikman - Cicciolina - Nice. Although its not a song I could listen to without getting thoroughly annoyed the 3rd or 4th time I hear it. Not sure it would translate well on stage. It's a good song but I don't think it should win.
03 - Aksel Kankaanranta - Looking Back - I really like this one. I feel like it wouldn resonate with a lot of people who would take their time to listen to the l lyrics of the song but unfortunately a lot of people won't. Even though it's great it could easily get lost in it's semi.
04 - F3M - Bananas - It's not bad and i can see the appeal but it's not for me. I was waiting for a drop but it just never happened. Alright but not a winner.
05 - Sansa - Lover View - They lyrics are a complete mess. They don't work.
06 - Catharina Zulkhe - Eternity - I loved it until the drums kicked in and it ruined the atmosphere I thought it was gonna have. Still good but it would've been better without the drum and pop chorus.

03 - Catharina
04 - Erika
05 - F3M
06 - Sansa
Aksel has the best song but i think Tika would work the best at esc. Either way I don't see any of these getting more then 20th at the grand final.

The first polls of UMK 2020 Länsi-Suomi (local news) (1789 votes) 1. Erika Vikman 48% 2. Aksel Kankaanranta 18% 3. Tika 15% 4. Catharina Zühlke 11% 5. F3M 5% 6. Sansa 3% YLE's unofficial poll (the amount of votes is unknown atm, also the voting is still open so the results can still change) 1. Erika Vikman 53.9% 2. Aksel Kankaanranta 14.7% 3. Tika 14.5% 4. Catharina Zühlke 9.9% 5. F3M 4.3% 6. Sansa 2.7% Just for comparison, PKN had approx. 45% in the polls one week before the final. Erika Vikman's victory in the public vote is almost certain. |

  for our entry from me  As i said before i loved Aksel and his song pre-show already and i love that song even more after his performance I also loved how clean and soft his voice was I am more than happy with our entry this year  In general Erika and Tika both were amazing too F3M was pretty great  Zühlke and Sansa big let downs for me |

MY REVIEW MY TOP 6: Erika Vikman  Aksel Kankaanranta  Tika  Catharina Zühlke  F3M  Sansa For this edition I expected watch more NF, but because of time and other things I couldn't watch more. I joined to the live only for see only our queen, Erika, win. But, honestly, I didn't listened the rest of songs. After the perfomance of all the 6 songs, I was excited, I loved all the 6. I placed Sansa last, but she still perfomed a great song. All the songs had a high quality, enough quality for quialify to the Grand Final, in my opinion. ABOUT THE WINNERAksel, the Finnish Michael Schulte, I can't say how I love his song. This beautiful song must be at the Grand Final! Sorry, for Erika. You didn't win, but see my country ( ) give you 12p, that made me happy. You lost the passport, but you'll be in our hearts. |
